What a lovely venue, a hidden gem right in the centre of town. Booked a table for the lunch deal to celebrate our Mum's milestone Birthday and what a good choice!
Treated like royalty from start to finish and the food was plentiful and tasty.

The Rugby Hotel is great and old fashioned in the very best sense of the words. With pleasant welcoming staff, comfortable furniture and a good range of food and drink this is everything one expects from a hotel.
We stopped at The Rugby Hotel for the weekend arriving on a Friday afternoon, on arrival we were met by the Front of House staff who made us feel very welcome whilst being checked in, this feeling continued during the evening with Pia in the Lounge Bar where we had stopped to get directions to another establishment. Our Suite on the second floor was clean and tidy, had everything we would need for the weekend. The Breakfast was excellent, Full English for me and plenty of Tea, Coffee and Juices. I would recommend this establishment to any traveller, Business, Family, Friends

Everything you need and nothing you don't, clean, efficient, good bar and good breakfast. Very good value for money given the location. Parking was absolutely no problem. Will definitely stay again.
