Had a fantastic evening here tonight celebrating a birthday. Front of house lady was very nice and seated us straight away even though we were 20mins early, waiting staff were polite, professional and very attentive, but not intrusive.
The food.. wow... Chateaubriand.. just incredible.
Finished off with a cocktail in the bar upstairs, perfect finish to the night.

Birthday treat for our son on a Wednesday night. Cosy atmosphere and plenty to choose from on the menu. Me and the boy had pigeon breast followed by salmon with amazing mashed potato and a fresh tomato sauce. Disappointed we couldn’t order cocktails but then we didn’t check the website. Will definitely be back for the steak menu and cocktails. Great service and a lovely bottle of Malbec !
Absolutely fabulous evening celebrating our wedding anniversary- friendly welcome, complimentary prosecco and the most delicious steaks.. best we’ve had in ages�thank you for making our anniversary so special. Definitely recommend!
Fantastic night again at cafe vin cinq the food was absolutely amazing as usual. Great place to celebrate a special occasion. We had the chateaubriand which was fantastic too much for two people. Will skip the starter next time and have dessert.
Had a lovely meal with my mates celebrating 50th. Great food, impeccable service (thanks Anna and Jack). They were very attentive, and complimentary glass of champers was much appreciated. Came back later and went to cocktail bar, which is great place to go. Highly recommended.
Had a wonderful evening celebrating our 25th wedding anniversary. We had a warm welcome on arrival and escorted to our table with a complimentary glass of champagne. The food and the service was excellent, nothing was too much trouble. Defiantly recommend this restaurant whether it's a soecial occasion or just a meal out with friends. We went to Cafe Vin Cinq for my mums birthday where she was given a free glass of Prosecco to celebrate. The food was delicious! I had the scallops to start and the duck for main which was cooked to perfection. The staff were extremely attentive and very knowledgable on both the wine and the food. Good choice of wines and cocktails available.The restaurants itself is always so relaxing, we had a lovely table on the second floor. Would highly recommend this restaurant. Very reasonable prices for such high quality food and service- it is always our first choice when eating out in Rugby!
Wonderful dinner!! Went for my dad's birthday meal and the server treated him with a glass of prosecco on the house. I had the duck liver pate to start which was okay, I wasn't too keen on the biscuit it came with. The lamb I had for mains was excellent, was a decent portion too. For dessert I had the stracciatella cheesecake and it was so creamy and delicious. The service was excellent and it was such a nice atmosphere, perfect for dates or family meals. Definitely a must try for anyone in Rugby.
I was surprised by the pea crème de la! I was about to order another disc right away.

Excellent meal, and exceptional service. We had scallops, and a smoked mackerel mousse for starters, followed by sirloin steak, and blackened rump, which was all superb. The restaurant is a relaxing and enjoyable place to be, and we has booked to sit on the first floor, which I would recommend - it’s actually a slightly larger space than the ground floor, and we never felt ‘forgotten about’. Staff were very efficient, and extremely knowledgeable about the new menu, having tried all the dishes, and were able to provide their recommendations. The steak was beautifully rare, so you needn’t worry about the chef overcooking anything. Nice range of wines, including a Petit-Chablis at £28 a bottle, though would have been nice to see more wines available by the glass. The pudding menu looked divine (our waiter said his favourite was the white chocolate & cranberry bread and butter pudding), but we were much too full for more!
Bill came to £98 which was very reasonable, and I don’t think I’ve experienced such exceptional service like this in the area.
Beautiful bar which we enjoyed before going to our table. Fabulous old fashioned cocktail delicious. The food we had was exceptional one of the best château briand I've ever had .the staff are fantastic and can't do enough for you.we will definitely be back thanks guys

Best restaurant in Rugby and surrounding areas by far! We have been here for dinner last weekend and we could not fault it! Every detail, atmosphere, service and food was beyond imagination! They categorically serve the best steak in Warwickshire! Steak was cooked to absolute perfection and sauces absolutely delicious. The desserts aren't to be missed either as they were absolutely wonderful! Biggest compliments to the chef! Service is also worth a massive mention as they were all extremely attentive without being intrusive, nice and always there to look after us.
An absolute gem of a restaurant in Warwickshire and if you have not yet been, please book a table and try for yourself :-) We cannot wait to return!

First time I’ve tried this place and it set in a very quaint atmosphere. The food and service was outstanding coming from someone who loves fine dining and food. ( I like either). And this place was definitely worth the visit. I’ll be booking a again for sure
A wonderful restaurant in a perfect position, opposite Rugby School. The food and wine were excellent and the staff were attentive without being intrusive. This is probably the best restaurant in Rugby, it's certainly the best one that we've been to, and we will be back.
