The Hesketh Arms - Rufford - Photo album

Lots of parking is available, outdoor seating and children's play areas. Inside is nice with an old world feel, toilets immaculate. Service was very pleasant and polite but food took 45 minutes to arrive. Advised that all the tomatoes had been used so not available as described on menu. Steaks about
First impressions: cosy and popular place, this is why it was quite busy (we were there on a bank holiday Monday). First we just popped in for a drink but then decided to have dinner too, even if we have to wait for our table. The food was just the usual pub grub, the staff was above average.
Very caring staff, felt very welcome as soon as I entered. Good, proper beers good pub style food. Not an extensive choice, but what we had was good. A plus for us, we could eat indoors with our dog and there were bowls and biscuits. Happy dog, happy owners that can relax and spend a little bit long
We love it at the Hesketh Arms. We live within walking distance and they always look after us . It’s our favourite place to have lunch or dinner and in our opinion one of the best pub restaurants we’ve ever visited . Wonderful staff , fantastic atmosphere, excellent food , extremely well run and we
Excellent service from staff as soon as we entered with our puppy. Chicken bloomer sandwich was delicious 😋
Lovely food and attentive service. We were there more or less at opening time for lunch and it was very quiet which suited us! Much busier by the time we left. Will most definitely go back.
What a pub. Fantastic selection of ales from around the north west. Plus some drinks that other people like. The food was top notch too, as was the service and atmosphere - everyone was smiling! Oh and theres a massive play area outside with tables so you can watch the kids whilst they have fun. Wil
Very nice, local village gastro pub. Lovely menu and still full of flavour and variety post COVID lockdown and with very workable social distancing measures in place. We had: patè, chicken strips and garlic ciabatta as starters. Sirloin steak, gammon, southern fried chicken burger and a prime beef b
Driven past a few times but this was the first time in. Huge building with lots of tables to choose from all laid out perfectly. Light & airey with a great menu selection. Lady who sat us down & took our order was both professional & jovial. I had the regular fish & chips & Mrs P had the chicken &
Great staff, great cask ales, great food, great prices - what more could any local or traveller ask for! I'm a regular now! Yx 🥳
First time visiting here. Just myself and my Dad who has dementia. It was nice and quiet on a Wednesday lunch time which suited us. Staff very helpful and friendly. Love the original features of the place. We had fish and chips and the burger. Possibly the best burger I've had. Definitely will be ca
Called in for Sunday roast, started with the onion and cheese soup, followed by beef roast with a side of cauliflower cheese, absolutely delicious and the service was first class
Memory place for me. Part of my childhood so like to support places. Variety of menu, great promotional events. Cosy and special ❤️
Large country pub in Rufford, having a good beer selection and pub grub. Would recommend booking in advance if looking to have a meal especially if you are a large group.
