Very nice quality meat but felt a little let down by the unexpected sweet taste of some dishes, lack of spicy heat too. Tables layed out nice and clean, but not so keen on the glass fronted window, personally I like a little more privacy, maybe some mirrored type glass so one can see out but not be so on view by passers-by. Lacking atmosphere too.
Did somebody write their food was fatty? well fat is good and I loved my fatty saag paneer. best preparation of this dish I've ever had.
Had the set meal for 4; quantity was good and the meat (chicken & lamb) was all well cooked & tender. Down side for me was that there was too much sweetness to flavours; the tikka masala seemed sweet & coconutty, and the peshwari nan too sugary to eat. Also all the food was too mild for me, I prefer more hot spices.
We had intended to eat in but when we sat down the bright lighting and big open window made us all feel too much “on show” so we changed our minds and ordered the food as a takeaway. Also we hadn’t realised there is a no alcohol policy which I really don’t like! Staff all seemed very helpful and friendly.
Lovely food reasonably priced and bring your own drinks in from pub next door.
Nice restaurants, lovely food. No alcohol license but you can take in your own drinks.
I am from Singapore and I eat great Indian food all the time. This is the best Indian meal I have had in at least 5 years. Service was great from the start and the food was outstanding. It was also amazingly priced. I would give this more stars if I could. Cannot recommend enough.
Just had a wonderful meal with superb staff who made the evening really enjoyable. The food was fresh, tasty with a good choice of dishes. The staff couldn’t do enough for us. We will be making this our regular Indian restaurant.
Had a fab night at the Dhaka Delhi for my bday celebrations. We were a big party of 14 and they looked after us so well. The food was so tasty and arrived quickly to say what a large party we were. Really impressed and will be going back! Thanks for having us.
I visited with a large group of friends and we all very much enjoyed our experience at Dhaka Delhi. The food was delicious and the friendly team made it very easy for us to order by offering a set menu (mixed starter, rice, naans & curry each of our choice off the menu) for a set price each. We really appreciated that. Also loved that it's BYOB and we were able to bring across our drinks from Framebreakers pub next door. Will absolutely be back!
First visit for us. Meal for four Saturday evening. Service was first class with helpful advice and information about the menu. The food was excellent, very impressed. Would certainly recommend.
