What a lovely campsite, we first stayed here four years ago, and vowed then to come back, but with our son having to have two hip spica operations, only this year were we able to, and we were not disappointed the site has improved over the intervening years. Wonderful weather, truely helpful staff from the owners to the young lady in the main reception, and not forgetting the lady running the snack bar doing wonderful food - I would highly recommend this site to anyone new or experienced campers - for lovely sea views and a wonderful camp fire at night, Chy Carne is a beautiful, relaxing place to visit

Just spent a fantastic week at Chy Carne camping with family.
Even though we booked fairly last minute, considering it was school holidays, they made sure we had pitches together and the pitches we were given were great!
Found all the staff to be very friendly and nothing seemed too much trouble. The whole atmosphere on site seems very relaxed which is what you want on holiday.
The facilities on site are great. Love the pizza shop, pizzas from there are amazing. We also had food from the shack and drinks in the marquee and found prices to be very reasonable.
At the start of our week the campsite was full but as the week progressed it slowly became more empty. It was just as easy to access the facilities (showers, wash up stations etc) when the campsite was full as it was when empty.
Our first time camping for a full week and loved it and even though it's an 8hr drive for us to get there it's worth it and already planning our return visit next year.
Only downside to our visit to Chy Carne was having to go home!!

Just returned home from camping here this week on our first camping holiday and we weren't disappointed great views, great facilities & great atmosphere.
Certainly would recommend this little gem.

We just spent a week here for our 1st year anniversary & honeymoon. WOW! The park is stunning & very well looked after by staff with clean toilet & shower facilities. The staff are all lovely & friendly. Food at the Shaka Carne hut is delicious served by the lovely Carol, the Marquee bar on site with the lovely Amee. The beach is just a stones through away & absolutely stunning. Thank you to all the staff we had a amazing stay & will be back next year xx

We have just spent a week at this wonderful site. I really cant find anything negative to say. All of the staff are friendly and really helpful. All ameneties are always clean and tidy, as is the whole site. The views of kennack sands cove from our pitches are amazing too. We will defo be returning to this great place. Thankyou for helping to make our week perfect.
This is simply a great part of the world, with amazing views and local attractions. Couldn't of asked for better hosts for our stay.

This place is just heaven on earth as far as I'm concerned. We went there a year ago and had the best, relaxing week ever. Me and hubby were looking for where we want to go this year and we both want to go back again so hopefully booking up in the next few days for a return trip this year.
Just spent 10 days here and totally loved every minute (even if it was raining half the time). The campsite grounds are really well maintained and 5he shower blocks/toilets are cleaned a few times a day. There is a little shop with great friendly staff and a pizza/ice cream shop next door. There is a park for the kids to play in which my daughter loved spending time in.
Most of the pitches will give you great sea views.
Definitely coming back next year.
