Our visit was very very welcoming and pleasant, nothing was to much trouble for the staff nothing went unnoticed from empty glasses to empty plates.
Staff were amazing. Bar staff and waiting on staff one well nit team there
Would highly recommend here,
was so friendly and the food was delicious
We recently stayed three nights at the Wynnstay. and really enjoyed ourselves. In addition to breakfast, we also ate there at lunch time, and one evening. We thought the menu choices, food quality, value for money and service were all first class! Most of all we would wish to highlight the work of the staff: they were friendly, helpful, cheerful, and could not have made us more welcome.
Thanks, The Wynnstay!
Cute, quiet little village. Lovely pub/hotel. Beautifully decorated, really nice, friendly staff and excellent breakfast. Would have been all over 5 stars however the lovely bedroom was on the small side, the bed only a double and room very warm and couldn't open a window. Would stay again but ask for a different room.
I recently photographed a wedding here for the new Mr & Mrs Ellis.
The happy couple were married across the road at St Mary's Church and had their reception at the Wynnstay.
Firstly, the staff were excellent and friendly. They were very busy but polite and helpful towards everyone.
I was fortunate enough to enjoy a 3 course meal with the wedding party, the meal was fantastic - tasted lovely with generous portions .
Thank you again for making me feel so welcome
Great stay again at Wynnstay. Very comfortable, kids love the bunk beds in the family room. Very welcoming staff, lovely bar and restaurant. Fantastic Welsh breakfast.
Great for family meals with a reasonable menu, good service and is dog-friendly. It has a good bar and the atmosphere typical of a country pub-restaurant. I recommend the hotel when my visitors need to stay overnight.
Best Sunday dinner Ever!!!, went on Friday night for a long over due catch up with friend, food so good just went back for Sunday lunch with my husband . Roast beef dinner was amazing and the huge Yorkshire pudding. Wow. Quality of food and presentation excellent . Great customer service , very friendly. Highly recommend.
Lovely hotel, room was amazing, fresh milk a bonus, very comfortable bed, restaurant meal was different and very tasty, drinks were reasonably priced. Will definitely be back.
Our room was a little cramped, especially the bathroom. However, the bed was super comfy and the room was very clean. I especially welcomed fresh milk in a flask and two bottles of water in our room.Thank you.Our room, at the back was very quiet despite some noisy revellers in the garden. Staff were exceedingly helpful and friendly and bent over backwards for us.we were welcomed in the bar & a table reserved for us for dinner. I enjoyed talking to the lady who was ironing copious amounts of white tablecloths for the wedding the next day.I felt sorry for her & would urge the management to purchase a rolling machine for her, because her task was very onerous. The wedding room looked splendid.
Our breakfast, the following morning had to be prompt as my husband was performing in the Eisteddfod & we had to be in Llangollen to rehearse by 9am.Again the staff were helpful & our breakfast was speedily served. It was delicious with plenty of choice.
We were disappointed we were not able to extend our stay another night, but the hotel was full, due to the wedding. I would not hesitate to recommend this hotel to anyone looking for accommodation in this area.
Wow recently transformed. What an amazing venue. Sunday lunch is one of the best we have had in a long time. Great new chief with quality ingredients, no frozen stuff here. Extensive menu offering value for money fine dining. Staff are so nice and friendly, excellent service which makes for a wonderful atmosphere. Make sure you book it gets very busy 🏴👍
