We ordered for delivery and it took half an hour to arrive - very speedy! Food was hot when it arrived and tasted good. Only downside is it's a bit more expensive than other fish and chippies.
The fish and chips here are not the best. However, it is served hot and the cod is crispy. It should not worth 3.8 stars only, so I am giving 5 stars to push up the rating.
I visited the shop recently and ordered Chips, Onion rings and curry sauce. Service was very friendly & my order was ready upon arrival (I pre ordered). Cannot fault the food at all. All food was lovely and fresh and I'm happy with the price I paid. Will definitely return, thank you! 🙂
Update May 22. Going to add 2 stars to this review as a couple of more recent experiences were much better with decent portion size. Food was well cooked as always. Will update again if anything changes
We have been getting fish and chips here for 8 years. It once went down hill then improved again. Sadly today it's doing the same again. The chicken and fish was excellent always but look at the picture. Do you seriously think this is value for a £2.65 portion of chips? Sad really as this is the cheapest part of the dish and a larger portion should be used to entice people back. Sort it out Fishnchichn!!

This is a good place for a takeaway (no dine in). The staff were nice, friendly, and helpful, the food selection were very clear to see and had a nice selection of food to choose from. From ordering to completing the order is fairly quick ( If your in a hurry and want something simple, this could be the place for you). The quality, quantity and price is fairly decent too.
Overall, I would recommend and return as a customer.
Lovely cod and chips very tasty treat and it was a great price £4.99.You won't be disappointed, very clean and friendly staff.I haven't tried the chicken yet but will be returning to try some.
Always good fish and chips here. A bit further away for us but we often go when we're passing.
We use the online app when ordering as we find this easier as a family. We have ordered a couple of time recently and find the app easy to use and timings accurate. The service was great and the staff were friendly upon collection. We've been using this shop for years and don't go anywhere else for our fish and chip takeaways.

We use the "click and collect" service fairly regularly and it is very efficient, easy to use and the food has be ready to collect on time every time. The odd time we've ordered something they don't have - like a "large" cod, they do a sensible substitution like two small ones. We general stick to fairly "main" part of menu - fish, sausages etc - and always well cooked, fresh and not too greasy. As others have said, some other places do larger portions for the money but the quality is good, the service efficient and quantity is always enough for any of our family members - so we are very happy customers.
