Best Chinese I've had in a long time I got from here last week. Chicken balls were brilliant, chips were delicious. Highly recommended. Good price too!

Nice place, not changed much in the last 5 or more years.
Just a shame that when you order a battered sausage you get a small one as standard without being asked (as an adult) if you want a large one as you tend to get in most other chip shops
The best takeaway any where. Friendly family run business. Lovely people. Great food, and excellent prices that beat all the others. The best curry sauce of any I've tried, the proper thick Chinese stuff. Not that sloppy dish water with bits in it. 5☆ every time

Wow. Wish we'd found this Chinese takeaway long ago. After finding our usual choices closed we tried Gold Sun. There were five of us and we are all of the same opinion. Delicious flavours, none of dishes were oily and were delivered on time steaming hot. We will certainly be back😋

I have visited many chinese takeaways in my time in different areas of the UK and this one is the best by far! Absolutely stunning food, at reasonable prices. Friendly staff who cannot do enough for you. Always pleasant and make the time to chat. Will always use the Gold Sun! Highly recommend them.
I have worked all over the world. Eaten food from everywhere.
But nobody even does a special chow main that tastes as SPECIAL as the Gold Sun.
The staff here are very friendly and have even let me try concocting my own squid dish as I was allergic to some ingredients on the menu.

Gold Sun's food is delicious and good value - the best Chinese takeaway I've had in ages. I love them for two reasons: first, they do crispy shredded beef, which a lot of places don't offer, and it was superb, and second, they put the lids on the containers tightly enough to stop the sauces leaking
Best fish and chips i've ever eaten at and thei chinese is amaaazing. I cant normally stomach chinese food, but theirs i can because its never too oily or never too greasy.
I love their southern fried chicken so much i wont eat it from anywhere else lol
