Every time I pop in there, the service is always polite and prompt... my order is always cooked fresh from scratch which is very nice but if you are in a hurry it may be a problem as parking in the area is rather cumbersome... Superb in all respects. Friendly, helpful staff, lovely LARGE Cod & Chips, freshly cooked. Take it back to The Grove Tavern, to have with your pint - they won't (if you offer them a chip) mind!
Truly the best fish and chips (and battered sausage) you can get in Tunbridge Wells and in my experience the rest of England. The service is always exceptional with great friendly staff and one of the most beautiful things is that they can do your battered fish as gluten free! My partner is a coelia

Best chip shop in Tunbridge Wells. Crispy golden chips everytime. Fresh cooked sausages, chicken and fish. Excellent service friendly staff. Can't find better.
I believe this shop has now closed, possibly under new management and could re open. Just hope the quality is still the same.
