The service was very good and the food was good. Although the korma was unnecessarily sweet, the jalfrezi was pretty much spot on. But there was something missing that would make it five stars - but I'm not sure what. Maybe that little extra in presentation, service food quality? A meal in the Giggling Squid was the same price but a much higher quality and food and service. But I'd go back again. Recommended.

We really like this restaurant, it should get 4.5 stars. We visit when we are in the area - December. Hopefully we will do the same in 2023. Usually it is quite busy, a good sign. The menu is a little different from the usual Indian menu, so you have some standards there but also some different dishes...the kind I like to try. The service is excellent...we are greeted with a warm smile. The food and drink is welcome, good sized portions. A nice atmosphere. All good.

My food was not cooked as much as I would have liked.

The best place in RTW! TNT held his 75th birthday party here. We had balloons, wine, pens, jokes, and music. The food was exceptional. I served in India in the 1940s and this food is authentic, modernised, evolved for the Brits and a great experience. Tony had a lovely evening. The wine is good. The music is excellent. The staff are incredible. Highly recommend. I love that the business encourages you to let your hair down . I love this place.

Stunning quality Indian food. We ate in the restaurant on fireworks night and were blown away by the quality. We've had about 4 takeaway from here in the last month (our kitchen is currently being renovated) but still, it's in our Top 3 takeaways in Tunbridge Wells now. The Saag Paneer is UNREAL as is the King Prawn Muglai. Amazing service too.

Me and my partner decided on a nice curry for valentine's, and we were definitely not disappointed. The gentleman that took our order over the phone was very helpful and friendly, as was the delivery driver. However, most importantly. The food was fantastic. This is the second time we have ordered from here, and it's now our no.1 go to for an excellent curry. Perfectly cooked to order, extremely flavoursome, always hot, not too heavy, and somehow always leaves you wanting more! Will definitely be dining here next time.

Probably the best Indian we've found, we have tried quite a lot. Absolutley lovely food, never had a bad meal there. Fairly reasonable cost. The only slight drawback is waiting for the food on Fridays and Saturdays. Tip always pre-book, as it's more a busy then.

Excellent food, friendly and attentive service. Very sad room with a damp musty smell. Clean linen though. I really would recommend a visit for the food alone and the price was not expensive for the quality.

Without doubt the best curry (not only in Tunbridge Wells) but anywhere. We order from here at least once a week and everything we’ve ordered has been on time, piping hot and delicious. The spices are spot on and everything just tastes so fresh. I’d set up a direct debit if I could. A+

I've had takeout from Bengal quite a few times before, but this was my first time sitting down. Lovely experience, amazing food, extremely friendly staff. Thanks !! We'll be back !
