A lovely place to spend an early lunch. Booking a table on a Saturday is a must. We didn't and was given a "leave by" time on arrival that didn't really impact on our meal but meant we were clock watching. The staff were attentive, friendly and helpful though I wasn't sure if this was due to our hav
Fantastic afternoon tea with a quirky Alice in wonderland theme. The food was beautifully presented and equally delicious. The room was well decorated and fun. Service was a little slow and didn’t check on us often, but when they did it was good
We enjoyed our visit for afternoon tea around the coronation. We had been less than impressed by some of the English tea-rooms we had visited and after many missed opportunities we gave this one a chance. Not all Ivy eateries do afternoon tea so were glad this one did. The options were good enough a
An Elegant Affair with Room for Improvement - The Ivy in Tunbridge Wells: ################ Dining at The Ivy in Tunbridge Wells was an experience filled with sophistication and elegance. From the moment we stepped in, the immaculate design and attentive staff set the stage for an evening of indulgen
I love Ivy restaurants, and this was no exception. Even my kids love eating brunch at Ivy. They love the decor. The staff was very polite and helpful. Also they saved a jumper that we left until we realised it was missing.
Excellent service (a rarity these days) and the prices are very, very reasonable - both in absolute terms and also relative to most other restaurants in the same price range. If there's one place that merits the 'discretionary' service charge that gets slapped automatically onto your bill these days
Absolutely fabulous place. Atmosphere brilliant. We had afternoon tea, it was amazing , a real experience. Loved it!
Booked for a birthday meal with the family after receiving many recommendations for The Ivy. We managed to get booked for just after five so make sure to book well in advance if you want prime meal time reservations. Very difficult to choose what to have as so much appealed to me, but settled on th
Stunning place ,the decor is fantastic so much to take in .Greeted by very friendly staff and always asking if evening is ok. It was nice to see mixed ages all having a wonderful time .We had afternoon tea ,which consisted of sandwiches, rolls, cakes, and scones .It was topped off with dry ice,
Just had a meal here tonight. The service was excellent from start to finish. Our waitress - Anna - was knowledgeable about the food and wine, excellent at making us feel welcomed and brilliant at her job. The ambience of the restaurant was lovely and the decor was beautiful and colourful. We felt l
Lovely restaurant, we had a great diner. Scallops were delicious as was the grilled salmon. Can highly recommend!
Food was amazing, could not fault it one bit. The atmosphere had the right "look" but the tables are so close together and the music really loud that everyone was needing to shout in order to speak to each other. So not really a great combination. The waiters could have paid attention a little more
First time dining as a family at The Ivy. Very impressed how child friendly the establishment was. Children's menu with good quality food that they were eager to eat. Our 7 year old loved the upmarket feel versus the usual chains families frequent.
We love The Ivy for special family meals. Our fussy children can always find something familar on the menu, and adults have a good choice of more exciting food. The dishes are tasty and made with fresh ingredients that are prepared with care, particularly the vegetables. The attentive staff always m
Came for an afternoon tea. The staff are very friendly and helpful. The restaurant felt a little cramped, we have been in an ivy before in Scotland and it was larger. The food was lovely. My wife couldn’t have cream. But they provided a coconut cream instead. It was fantastic. We’d take a tub of th
We were celebrating a birthday. Although some of us had already been it was my first time. Fantastic atmosphere, very well decorated ( the ladies cloakroom is absolutely gorgeous ) Food was very well cooked and fresh, I had the steak and it was succulent and soft, Service was attentive and prestine
We dined in but table was outside on a freezing night. No one contacted me to say it was outside or left a message, even though I phoned and confirmed the reservation. In the end we sat at the bar which was fine. Waiter was excellent.
