Thank you so much we had the best meal here on Monday evening celebrating one year since we got married there at the barn. We had a lovely meal and we can't rate the staff and this place highly enough we love it.
What an amazing wedding venue! I couldn’t have hoped for a better day. The whole experience from the day of booking, to the day of our wedding was straight forward and so very uncomplicated. The ceremony, food, staff, Dj was all amazing there is not a bit of it I would change. I couldn’t recommend the venue enough. Thank you very much.
Amazing day for our wedding on 8th July. Philippe and Janet and all the staff could not had made the day easier for us. Helped and advised us every step of the way. Janet leading up to it probably dreaded my daily email but was always happy to help and answer any questions I had. We had our wedding on the 28th august. We'd the most perfect day, the venue was stunning. All the staff worked so had setting up before our wedding and worked even harder during the whole day. Nothing was too much for them. Phillipe was amazing through all our planning! The food was delicious and everybody commented how lovely it was. I couldn't recommend this place enough! 100% perfection!

We had our wedding here on the 13th August and had the most amazing day. Philippe, Janet and all the staff were amazing they took care of all those small things that take away any stress and worry and made the day flow perfectly. The food was amazing and far exceeded guests expectations and still is one of the main comments we get when meeting friends especially those still day dreaming over the lamb. We cannot thank the staff enough and would highly recommend the venue to anyone!

Me and my daughter had a lovely pre theatre meal at The Barn Pub yesterday. The menu had a nice variety , the staff made you feel very welcome, the food was cooked to perfection and the cocktails were good too. I would definitely recommend The Barn Pub and look forward to returning there in the future .

My husband and I got married at the Barn on Sunday 8 of April; Philippe and the staff pulled out all the stops to ensure that everything ran smoothly and flawlessly. You really can see why they are an aware winning venue, nothing was too much trouble and they supported us every step of the way. The venue dressing, wedding breakfast and staff service meant that many of my guests told me that it was the one of the most enjoyable weddings they had ever been to. They made our fairytale wedding stress free and it was an absolute pleasure planning our wedding with them over the past year. They really deserve the highest accolade, I could not recommend them more. xx

I have been to the Barn countless times over the last 4 months, including for Christmas, birthdays and work celebrations with friends and family. Every meal has been amazing, each time we visit the Barn the chef makes me a lovely chocolate milkshake for dessert-which isn't on the menu but they go out of there way to make it as I love them! You can not fault the staff at the barn both in the restaurant and the bar, they are fantastic. Thank you so much the barn and looking forward to another meal very soon!

Wow... where to begin?! We got married at the Barn on 25th March 2018. I suppose we were a bit unusual as we didn't look at any other venues other than the Barn when we got engaged. It has been my local pub for 6 years now, and when I introduced Nick to the Barn he also fell in love with it. We knew it would be the perfect place for us to get married when the day came. Nick was so keen to book that he proposed to me early just so he could get a date booked asap!
Philippe and Janet were on hand to answer our many questions and where so fantastic at helping us to plan everything out in the coming months. They made everything so simple.
The day itself was incredible... We could not have asked for anything more... Our decorations looked spectacular, Philippe did an amazing job laying out everything... It looked better than we could have imagined... It was magical! The venue really shines out in every one of our photos.
The service in the conseratory was so intimate and beautiful. Everyone said it was a wonderful ceremony and we feel alot of that was due to the intimacy of the venue as well as the amazing job of the registrars!
The staff behind the bar and in the kitchen were brilliant. We had so many compliments on the service and the food. Everyone meals came out hot and as ordered... And the food is always tasty at the barn... So much so that my mum always insists we go to the barn for lunch when she visits.
The day ran so smoothly. We both spent the entire day with massive grins on our faces and most of that was because we could relax entirely, knowing that everything was in hand! We cannot thank everyone at the Barn enough for putting the 'special' into our special day!

We recently had our wedding at The Barn and from the moment we contacted Philippe we couldn’t have asked for a better experience. With only 4 months between booking and event it was great that communication and planning with Janet was easy, flexible, timely and supportive – from our plans with various music playlists needed on different sound systems to arranging our rehearsal the day before, all the little details were accommodated.
The location of The Barn is really accessible being in the centre of town, with plenty of places for guests to stay nearby, yet it feels very private as it is set away from the main road down a private street with no passing traffic. It is a gorgeous venue, really intimate but with plenty of space for our 70 guests, and the team had done an excellent job of setting up and laying out our table decorations beautifully; it was a wonderful space for us to connect with our guests.
All the staff were professional, friendly and helpful throughout the event; many of our guests commented on how lovely they were, along with how fantastic the venue was.
The food was delicious, guests choose from 4 meals on each course, and every one of them looked amazing, we’ve heard many compliments of every option. Service throughout the meal was excellent, a good level of attentive, efficient and unobtrusive, they served a large room at a good pace.
The whole running of the day was done smoothly, changing areas worked really well, we hardly noticed the hard work going on downstairs while we had our meal.
We can’t thank the team at The Barn enough for helping us have such a wonderful day and we highly recommend this wonderful venue!
We held our wedding at The Barn in May this year, it was the best decision we ever made.
The team at The Barn were absolutely wonderful and were on hand for anything that we needed and made us so relaxed in what could be a stressful day, they kept reminding is its your day if you want to do something different then it's OK.
We 1st viewed The Barn in 2019 and fell in love with it then Covid hit, but we already knew we wanted to go back as you cannot beat the value, packages, location and the team behind the scenes running it all.
Phillipe and Janet were brilliant with any requests that we asked for and we cannot thank them enough.

We had an amazing anniversary meal at The Barn last night. The food was fabulous , the staff were amazing, the atmosphere was perfect. We spent the evening drinking very tasty cocktails and reminiscing on our wedding day (which we had at The Barn) Phillipe made us feel at home since our very first visit to view the venue, which means we love returning.
Popped here today on a whim. It was a GREAT decision!
Food was all so damn good! (Even the runner beans got demolished!)
Our little girl decided to be a bit picky but me and my partner enjoyed eating every last bite! And then dessert.. fantastic!
Today was perfect for the outdoor seating, which there is loads of.
Really enjoyed our visit and the staff were beyond nice. Will definitely be back there next time we visit Tunbridge Wells.

This is a gem of a restaurant right above a lovely pub (with a nice outside garden near the train station).
There is a fixed price set menu and it was really good value for money. The lamb was perfectly cooked, tender and flavorful with the source. The kids menu contained a nice variety and good size that was adequate even my older kid. The atmosphere was warm, welcoming and comfortable with attentive service. Glad we discovered this and would return.

My husband and I had our wedding at The Barn in September 2021 and the venue was truly magical. We had the most memorable day; one we will never forget.
We instantly loved the venue when viewing photos online, and when we viewed the venue for the first time in February 2019 alongside Philippe, who was so welcoming, we booked the venue straight away without wanting to see any other venues.
Our wedding was originally scheduled to take place in April 2020, but due to COVID it was pushed back several times. Luckily, after waiting 18 months, we finally tied the knot in September 2021.
Janet was absolutely amazing throughout and was always there to answer our questions. It took us five attempts, but we got there in the end, and Janet could not have been more accommodating.
The Barn is such a beautiful venue and perfect for the 64 daytime guests we had. It was intimate, especially the ceremony, which is exactly what we wanted. Phillipe and the rest of the team decorated the venue so beautifully; it was honestly better that we could have ever imagined. Everyone was so welcoming and friendly and this made the day run smoothly. The food was amazing; from the canapes, to the sit-down meal and then the evening buffet. They also have so many wonderful additions that you can include in your package and we opted for the sweet cart, which everyone loved, and even made use of The Barn's "Mr & Mrs" canvas and easel for our welcome sign.
The venue is in a fantastic location, with great transport links and a beautiful park across the road, which is where we had our gorgeous wedding photos taken.
The Barn provide a list of outstanding wedding suppliers, which was a great help when planning our wedding as we didn't really know where to begin. We were fortunate enough to work with some of their recommended suppliers; Helen England as our photographer, Cut Above Productions as our videographer, Colonnade Florist and Luke Swift as our DJ. All are AMAZING and we would highly recommend each of their services.
We cannot recommend The Barn highly enough. It is the perfect wedding venue and all our guests adored the venue. Janet and Phillipe, from the bottom of our hearts, we cannot thank you enough! We will certainly be returning each year for food and drinks, and to reminiscence our special day.

My visit was because of a wedding package. Its a lovely, intimate venue that is accommadating and friendly. The food was perfect and the choices extensive. We were allowed our dogs and ultimately that's what we were looking for.

I think the online ordering system was down when we went so our drinks didn't come for a while and we ended up going to the bar, and there were slight problems with the food we ordered but the staff sorted it quickly.
We attended a wedding here on the 13th August. From the ceremony to the end was excellent. The food was outstanding, the service was outstanding. The Barn could not have delivered a more positive experience. It was a wonderful day for my Nephew and his partner.
We attended a wedding on 10th, it was absolutely fantastic. The staff were amazing, food was sublime and the overall ambience of the venue including the courtyard garden was magical. A very special place.
Pleasant restaurant with a varied menu to cater for all palettes consisting of steak, burger, and other traditional pub dishes as well as nice fish dishes along with vegetarian options... The staff were lovely and attentive, and is always a nice pub to have a drink whilst being in a nice relaxed atmosphere... They have a nice outdoor space which gets very busy during the course of the evening...

Had my wedding here in this beautiful venue. Honestly couldn't have had a better day, everything was set out perfectly, the staff were highly professional and lovely. Any questions we had they answered. The decorations and table layout was spot on. I can't recommend this venue enough if you are looking for somewhere to have your wedding. The garden area provides a beautiful landscape to take pictures with loved ones through the rustic background. Was the best day and night of my life. The food was delicious and everything was fairly priced. The owner was very professional and precise when helping us organise everything through menu selection, table layout and seating to how we wanted the decorations set up. 100% recommend this venue

Wonderful staff and evening, the food was delicious. Although I hated the fact the fajita came with tons of mushrooms baked right in,
:) would have been great to have a fresh, zingy salsa or tomato avocado accompaniment to the oily blend of mushroom and pepper, as I had to pick out the mushroom it was just endless peppers in a wrap
Besides that it really was a nice meal altogether but I wouldn’t order fajitas again. Bruschetta was delicious but really needed to be a little bigger ✨
