best butcher in the area, great deli of local foods, one or other owner always there. increasingly busy, on weekends offer v family friendly pizzas. In middle of historic estate with a decent playground next to the shop.
Stansted Park farm shop is such a interesting place , so many different products there, lovely meat and game , great bacon and a wonderful arrangement of vegetables. Always worth a visit .

Just attended the 'Game Preparation Course', a real insight into the preparation of game, very enjoyable day, skinning rabbit, plucking wood pigeon, wild ducks, and a wood pigeon. Learning how to butcher a deer. Enjoyable company and tuition in a relaxed environment. Excellent event.
