Great venue, ambience, service, and fabulous traditional Sunday lunch. The staff were amazing. There was lots to eat, to satisfy even the largest of appetites. I booked a table of 10, lunch was great. My party were really impressed

Fantastic venue, great food, great staff, and a lovely atmosphere. Stopped by here for a bite to eat. Ordered steak and kidney pudding with veg and new potatoes. I was not disappointed, the pie was packed full, and the veg was cooked perfectly.

Beds could be a little better, but the staff and food more than made up for it. Great little pub and restaurant. Staff was the friendliest we had during our entire visit to England.

Lovely area we stayed for 2 nights but I'm afraid it was quite noisy at night time. With people coming out of the pub. We did have a nice meal there although it was a bit on the expensive side. Also the internet didn't work in the room we was in. So good and some not so good

Popped in for here for a unplanned lunch, was a quick service, maybe because it wasnt busy. Very tasteful but no condiments on offered with our lunch. Also £3:95 for a small side of chips was expensive would be better to add £2 on the sandwich menu with chips.

Great location with a lovely green out front and plenty of parking, rooms looked newly decorated and felt warm and welcoming. The hosts were fantasic as had issue when booking through agoda. A steal for the price and breakfast included, which was delicious. If i find myself down that way again, i will happily stay again.

Sampled both the normal and the Sunday lunch menus here, both were excellent and of a high standard. The landlord and staff were very attentive and friendly, definitely a great place to both eat and relax - no pressure whatsoever to vacate tables in a set timescale. We will return!

To cater for a party of 20 is never easy, but Robin Hood team pulled it off in cheerful brilliant style. Burgers, steak, salmon, fish & chips, bangers & mash..whatever the chef sent out was tasty, well cooked and beautifully plated...yes, for a pub! The salmon was a large generous serving cooked to masterchef perfection, full of flavour. Steaks cooked medium rare and so tasty. Everyone got their meals at the same time and same great consistency. Well done Robin Hood team in every way! We will be back.
