The little mill is a lovely place it is a bit isolated. The food was really nice a bit expensive but nice. There is lots for children to do and things to play on when the weather is nice. The staff can't do enough for you and so friendly. We went on a Sunday it very busy but we were served very quickly. There were 11 of us and we all enjoyed it. Also might be a good idea if you book before you go. Roy Whittaker 👍

Stayed for one night. Room was immaculate and well decorated. Rate included breakfast which was delicious. We ate dinner there which was really tasty and then had cocktails which were great . The staff were really friendly and there was a lovely atmosphere. Just a warning this is a dog friendly pub and the owners have 3 which wander around so if you don't like dogs it may not be for you. We loved it and would definitely return

Really lovely location lots for the kids to do, went on a rainy day and they still had a blast was glad I bought spare changes of clothes. The food was delicious but menu is constantly changing so whatever is online isn't necessarily what you get when you get there. My hubby ordered the fish and chips and it looked like a whale on his plate, I had a full meal out of it as well as the children and he filled up too.

Went for a meal with family and a friend. Has good food in a nice restaurant in this old public house. Amazing gardens and location Worth a visit anytime. Good range of foods and service tables in and outside. Nice views and possibly the longest slide for children I have ever seen.

Lovely old hotel in serene setting. High quality food and beverages. Child and dog friendly. Come hungry as the portions are huge.

We went to Derbyshire for a little break with our dogs. We were told about this place from the people who's farm we were staying at. We ended up there twice! The food is incredible, the service impeccable, and good prices, I've seen people on the reviews say it's expensive, but if you want top quality food you expect to pay the price. We had cheesecake for pudding, and it wasn't a slither like you get in most places, it was a huge wedge! With ice cream on the side. Its clean it has a beautiful outdoor seating area and completely dog friendly. If we ever have another holiday in Glossop we will definitely be visiting this pub again.

Amazing staff. Amazing location. Kid friendly and dog friendly with a stream and a kids play area. And a few chickens and geese wandering about. The roast dinners are amazing. You will not regret ordering food from here

We stayed with our 2 dogs for 2 nights, the room was large and immaculate, the service was great, the staff and owners were really friendly and welcoming. We ate here both nights and the food was top notch - if you like starter, the garlic and brie mushrooms are a must, the best garlic mushrooms I've ever had.

large outdoor space to enjoy the sun. Great friendly service and lovely food of a good size, my belly was stuffed. Homemade nachos were amazing. Did I mention the staff are brilliant, very accommodating and helpful.

We went for a family Sunday lunch, it was really very very good. I had roast lamb and a lovely selection of fresh vegetables. We will definitely be back next time we are in the area.
