Really sweet little tea shop. Felt like we were transported back to the 1940s! Very extensive menu for such a little cafe, including homemade jams/chutneys, puddings, chilli, soup etc. Also have vegan and vegetarian options. One guest had a dairy allergy and they knew which dishes contained dairy an
Warm friendly service. Cozy tea shop atmosphere. Fish and chips plus jacket potatoes and baked beans were delicious main course menu items. Large helpings so we were too full for what looked like delicious cream tea cakes. Next time!
What a jewel of a place, so cute inside. We took ages to choose our food as such a great choice, but settled on jacket potatoes and toasties, all served with an adventurous salad. Service was friendly and we were able to sit and chat for as long as we wanted. The fire on a cold, wet day was much app
Lovely, cute place 💜 Was happy to see they have some veggie and vegan options!
What a lovely little 'tea room', thoroughly enjoyed my visit, nothing too much for the staff, especially considering my two pernickety friends, home-made scones (bought some to take home), best ever, cream freshly whipped and real strawberries in the jam, rhubarb crumble with ice cream, tart and swe
Super cute place , amazing food and great service. Highly recommended 👍
Great place to find, late in afternoon when other cafes were closed. Very colourful atmosphere (quintessential Brighton!) indoors. The selection of cakes and nibbles to wash a good tea or coffee down with were amazing. Service was lovely and extremely friendly. Thanks for adding this to our list of
After a windy walk along the coast path from Brighton, we found the Trellis Cafe and popped in for some lunch. Lovely toasties and cake all round. Husband said Lemon cake was the best he'd ever had. Lovely old building and they allow dogs.
The most charming café I've ever been to. It feels like going to your grandparents and I mean that in the best possible way. I had a lovely coffee and cake, the atmosphere is warm and welcoming and I am glad to see it was quite popular when I went.
Popped in for a 'light lunch' on a Sunday. My husband was bemused by this, and he got a ploughman's. Really sweet cafe and lovely staff. They had the fire on, so we were nice and cosy on a chilly day.
