What a lovely place ... efficient service from friendly staff ...the food was cooked to perfection and tasted delicious ...Very good menu with just the right amount of choices and if you have a small appetite they have no problem with you choosing a starter for your main..Excellent � would i recommend ..definitely ..would i visit again ..most certainly . Cant wait �
Only go to rothwell occasionally so yesterday was the first time I'd visited market kitchen it was very busy for a Thursday lunchtime having ordered and eaten we realised why. we had a variety of the 'small' dishes all of which were outstanding and freshly cooked excellent service lovely coffee and a really reasonable bill at the end. Great place to eat try it you won't be disappointed.
Excellent food staff and bit slow but food worth the wait. Absolutely loved it would recommend.

Delicious freshly prepared food - fabulously put together and presented very well indeed - think I need to start working thru the menu as I was seriously spoilt for choice and also a good wine selection available especially seeing as it's lunchtime �
Ate here last night as part of private birthday party, despite it being full the food and service was outstanding! Fresh, hot and flavoursome food, good drink selection and lovely staff..will definatly visit again
Celebrated my daughters birthday on 29th December, excellent service, and food was really tasty and a good choice on the menu and specials board, would recommend a visit, we hope to return soon
Some friends and I went to the Italian market kitchen Saturday 8th July, the staff were friendly and the service was good, the food was of a high standard and tasty, had a really lovely meal. Will be going back!
This is a gem of a restaurant! I went last night with some friends (l was a last minute addition so thanks for fitting me in Heather). Fabulous food, the homemade bread alone is worth a visit, and the pannacotta with rhubarb is heavenly!
Excellent service from friendly, knowledgable waitress. Couldn't fault it!

Lovely meal, even small portions very generous. Would definitely go again. Need to sample the deserts but was to full to manage one. Maybe just coffee and desert next time!

Absolutely stunning meal. We went out to celebrate a family meal and are so glad we stopped here. Not quantity but so much quality, every bite was exquisite and it was more than enough. We had a large platter starter to share, followed up by ravioli and finished with cheesecake. The presentation of each dish was amazing and tasted as good as it looked. Normally I am not a 3 course person but I was determined to eat everything as it was too good to waste! Will definitely be back!

Myself and four friends have just spent the most lovely evening at this little gem of a restaurant. I really could not fault it. From the atmosphere, to the oh so delicious food, to the exceptionally friendly service, this is an Italian gastronomic experience not to be missed. Too good not to go again, so already booked in for our next girlie night. Highly recommended.
Outstanding food! We have heard so many good things about this place but had yet to try it. We went there for my dad's birthday, food didn't disappoint. We will be back!
Delicious food, a wide choice available on the menu. Lovely atmosphere and fantastic service by the staff. We were a table of 8 and were well looked after. I look forward to visiting again.
Liked the place a lot. Have not booked a table and it was full house so I could only get seated outside but it was lovely there. Staff are very friendly and patient, food was deeeee-leicious, prices are a bit high, but hey. If I ever come this direction again, especially with company, I'll return here.
