Enjoyed a family breakfast here over the weekend. Great tasting food and attentive staff, especially to our two young children. Bit of a wait for food/drinks but was peak time and shows how popular it is.
Had a delicious afternoon tea a couple of weeks ago. Sandwiches were lovely and the quiche was delicious. Everything was lovely and the scones were to die for!!
Lovely relaxed setting. I mentioned we’d have a pushchair as I knew it was small but we were give a table near the window with plenty of room which was perfect.
Will definitely be back (have been already for cakes to take home!!). A gem of a place.
Been coming to Gray’s for breakfast at least twice a week for as long as I can remember (their coffee is too good!) Today I’ve had lunch for the first time with a friend, for an early birthday celebration. One word, YUMMY!! We both chose something from the specials board so we could share and it did not disappoint! Even better washed down with a bottle of Peroni! Will need to book more afternoons off to come for lunch :)

My first visit was arranged by my daughter for Mother's Day. The food was lovely and a nice atmosphere. Couldn't fault service. Not often we get 4 generations together, so it was a great morning. Would definitely be visiting again for coffee and cake when in rothwell.
Had a lovely afternoon tea. It was our own fault for not mentioning we don't eat pork and we're given sausage rolls and pork pies. Next time we'll mention it. They were super helpful moving us to an outdoor table and the food we did eat was delicious. We even took home goodie bags because we couldn't eat it all. Thank you we'll definitely be back x
What a lovely little Cafe for a superb afternoon tea, all for a reasonable price! Very well looked after and lots of top ups of tea provided. I need to eat gluten free and was easily accommodated. Great variety on all our plates. Thank you.

Recently, my best friend and I had a joint baby shower at Gray’s of Rothwell with around 25 guests including us. I cannot rate the quality of the food and gorgeous atmosphere enough. I had been in touch with Gray’s a few weeks prior to the shower to advise about allergies and food preferences and they went above and beyond to accommodate this. From gluten free to veggie/vegan and one guest with very, VERY restrictive allergies, the staff could not have been any more helpful. The afternoon tea was delicious and we had a choice of many different teas and coffees which were replenished regularly.
I would highly recommend for a private function. The star of the show was the ploughman’s quiche - which I still can’t stop thinking about! 😂

Came for brunch with my friend yesterday and it was lovely. Easy to order, polite and friendly staff and clearly very popular! We thought we’d try and beat the lunchtime rush but it seems that Gray’s is busy all day through! The cheese on toast was beautiful and really filling. The lemon iced tea was so refreshing and perfect for a warm, sunny day.
The staff here are so friendly and accommodating, no matter when you go or what you need. Beautiful coffee and the food is to die for, definitely take a look at their specials board or follow on Instagram to see what their talented team have created. Love it here!
I’ve always loved Grays sweet treats and love how they’re going from strength to strength. Super excited for the potential extension into next door. First time I’ve had an afternoon tea there and I will definitely be going again. I asked for fruitless scones, plain sandwiches and no nuts and it was perfect! As I struggle to get afternoon teas that I love every bit of. Puppo appreciated too. Love that I can take my dog with me. Lovely people! 💖
Gray's provided some canape's for my birthday party and the food was incredible. It was easy to order, delivered on time and beautifully presented. Lot's of people were asking where it was from and I was more than happy to recommend the amazing team at Gray's. We'll definitely be ordering again. Thank you!
First time visiting Greys and was surprised at how busy it was for a week day morning. Had to wait for a table as was in a party of five but staff were lovely and got us sorted as soon as possible. Nice selection of food which was top quality.

Cheese or meats board or a combo of your choice is offered together with a limited wine list but the wines were very good. All the food is sourced within the UK and were all excellent. The boards come with salad and grapes plus plenty of crackers and a piece of sourdough bread. The staff are knowledgeable about the food and wine and are extremely attentive to their customers. I would recommend booking as it is a busy restaurant. Though not having any thing sweet the cakes and desserts looked top quality. A great place to while away a couple of hours.
Absolutely delicious lunch today. So lucky to have such a reliably lovely place on our doorstep!

Had a private event at Grays and it was a perfect afternoon. The food amazing as always, staff so lovely and attentive. The atmosphere is warm and we were lucky enough with the weather to sit outside in the courtyard - a little haven! Thanks so much!
We finally got around to trying Grays and it did not disappoint The most delicious chorizo eggs benedict!! A lovely place with friendly and welcoming staff. Thank you we will be back.
Really nice cafe and did a very good breakfast. Staff were friendly and helpful. Would say the only issue I had was that people were queuing waiting for table next to where we were eating. Maybe better having people queue outside like some other busy cafes.
