This is a lovely family-run cafe restaurant with a chatty owner and delicious food. I had the homemade steak pie with chips and peas, and my girlfriend had scampi, chips and peas (and a coke float). I also had a lovely slice of apple pie with ice cream. I'm not sure how busy it gets at lunchtime, b

Popped in at midday on a Wednesday for an early lunch and had the steak melt. Absolutely delicious slices of peppered steak with fried onions and mushrooms and a little Monterrey Jack cheese, served in a warm panini, with a basket of lovely chunky fries on the side. One of the better establishments on Bute too dine in. Truth to tell, preferred dining here rather than the Glenburn. Word to the wise, not open Monday or Tuesday. Least when we were there.
