1st time here. I took my great dane n she was welcomed by all staff. It was a very chilled place. At first I was a little unsure as I have a big dog but they were amazing with her. They also have a dog menu. And was very commentating. Will defo be going again
Danni behind the bar and serving meals was amazing. She has a brilliant sense of humour and engages with the customers in just the right way. Efficient and friendly and fun. What more could you ask for.
Food on the visit was great drinks were to the usual high standard.

We went to homestead yesterday cause the sun was shining. Great polite and helpful staff . Food was excellent. So white the fish and batter top notch . Tandoori chicken on a bed of vegetables. Spot on . Cheers to your chef

Decent place, can't complain about the food had the mixed grill which was overcooked and half the steak was fat & gristle, but it was only £15. But the rest of the food was ok. Service was good, everyone was really polite and smiling. The place was busy.
Arrived at 5.30 for tea on Saturday. Pub is bright and clean with lots of places to sit , some of the chairs are worn and shabby but the general appearances are good really friendly attentive staff. I ordered jerk chicken skewers with rice and veg other meal was Mediterranean chicken with chips

Impromptu midweek visit to the Homestead for Lunch, as always service and food was great, the sun was shining so finished our visit with a glass of wine in the beer garden 👍
Just started going back here recently and it is under new management which you can really tell. The manager is a super guy who is great with customers.

Food is lovely. However, the steak can be a bit hit and miss, particularly the rump it can be quite fatty. Other than that, everything else is spot on!!

Fabulous family Christmas Lunch. Great value for money. Felt slightly rushed but I'm sure that was only the staff wanting to ensure everything was done. Only down side was the men at the bar. Very loud drinking and swearing. Not called for in a family pub.
