First time visiting here with my parents on my day off. Lovely friendly staff and fresh and tasty food at a reasonable price. Recommend and will be visiting again, hopefully when the weather gets warmer for a seat outside π

Plenty of swans and a couple of mallards wanted to join me for lunch.
Unfortunately I had just finished before they arrived.
Apparently, it's also known as Swan Lake which is ideal for the location
Just been for afternoon tea with my mum, absolutely lovely, would recommend to anyone, Β£22.50 for 2, bargain, thanks again will definitely be returning xxx

Its fantastic love it, very clean,staff are great and the food was super as was the coffee. Amazing views outside too coffee at the side of the lovely canal Swans and ducks paddling by. Just fab

Enjoyed a lovely latte with hazelnut syrup with friendly service throughout. Got a bag of duck food too to feed the ducks at the back of the cafe, how unique is that.
Canalside cafe ( AKA SWAN LAKE??) Not forgetting the DUCKS !?-- EVERY loaf crust (White or brown) is fed 2 the wildlife by customers from the outside tables -- Any bread of any description after closing time disappear in the same manner by staff (Please correct me if I am wrong)??( l loved 2 B their bread suppliers??) Menus at this moment in time due ongoing virus but plenty of side salads--Baked potatoes various fillings π π π π -- Different meats π π π plus all sauces -- Coffees all description?? Take advantage until the end of August? ( HALF PRICES)

It's a small cafe with great food and choice.Staff are welcoming and friendly. We all had different and it was all good ,Sit outside and feed the ducks .Very fairly priced.Will be back .

It is a warm and welcoming place, lovely food, professionally served, coffee always hot, friendly professional staff.
Discreet private tables, parking a short distance from the door, swans and other water birds on the canal which can be seen from the tables, especially (our favourite) table number one or close up from the tables on the half covered veranda outside.
Little bags of food can also be purchased to feed the swans and the other water birds. A really special place in every way.
Mum loved her boat trip today with afternoon tea.we was very well looked after. Would definetely do this again and reccomend to friendsπππ
