The pub itself is nice with lots of room between the tables.
The staff were very friendly and couldn't fault the service.

Haven't visited for over a year. We used to take my Mum for lunch. Still the same friendly atmosphere. One area was quite full with a group of ladies. The staff were helpful and friendly. The food was just as good as I remember. As wide selection of good quality food at very reasonable prices. Ample

Booked a table for 6 for a birthday celebration. Pub was super busy but a really lovely atmosphere. Staff were really friendly and helpful. On entering the pub has a welcoming feel, it's very clean and fresh. The bar staff are friendly and efficient.
There was a good selection of beers and Lagers. I had a few cracking pints of Farmers Blonde.
I really must return here and have a meal.

Very nice Sunday dinner came super fast service was polite but bit of a bind having to pay for food and drinks as you order it from the till no table service offered must be only pub I know not offering a tab to your table number
We came here for lunch as a little treat, and it was absolutely lovely! The staff were very welcoming and friendly, we got our food fast and Marie who served me at the bar was so lovely! Overall we all felt very comfortable! We will definitely return😊

I have no recollection of giving the one-star recommendation. The "Dropping Well" has always provided us with excellent service and delicious food. I would highly recommend it to anyone who is looking for a five-star experience.
