Not bad service reasonable food could have been a little better all-round.free car park disabled entrance clean and freindly service.
Real English pub, food and atmosphere. Kindjes all over, nice buffet which leaves you some choices. The sweatest Pear cider. Great parking.
We had a family get together and lunchtime carvery following my mum's funeral. Food was good, hearty, value for money and enjoyed by all. Staff and service was excellent and sensitive to the occasion. Thank you so much.

First visit. Wasn't sure if you were seated or not but you get your table and then order at the bar. Two carvery lunches. Mid week around noon and not busy.
The food was hot and tasty. Plenty of parking on both sides of the building.
First time visit tonight and we were impressed. Service was fantastic and food was great (we had carvery). Reasonable prices too. A special mention to the lady serving the carvery she was really lovely - thank you.
Grown up family of 5 called for lunch on Monday, decent family meal, pub grub at a reasonable price. NHS discount applied, food gave no cause for complaint. Very good selection of drinks. Staff were friendly and thankfully fairly quiet. Loved the decor and the upper floor eating area

I’m sat here in the restaurant on a Thursday evening, at the end of a training course for 5 days. I’m absolutely blown away! Great carvery and it’s heaving in here with families and couples. Unsurprising when a dinner with all trimmings is less than £15 for two! So for the price of a McDonald’s meal
Carvery was beautiful, one of the best we've had. The pub is set in a nice location as well. Staff were friendly although service in the play area could be improved. Was waiting over 10 minutes for a lemonade and when it came it was the wrong size. It was swapped and a correct size one was delivered
I've been looking for a decent cavery for quite a few years and struggled too. However, I've now finally found one and it's budget friendly too. Thank you Marquis for finally giving me a lovely carvery that I've been craving for a long time 🥰
I have to admit being pleasantly impressed with this place.
The food was delivered quickly and the staff were extremely attentative and friendly.
They also have a function room for events, and a play area for the kids.
Decent amount of outdoor seating too, and ample parking.
This place is amazing the staff are so lovely and friendly they always go that extra mile. The food is always lovely especially steaks as they are cooked exactly how you want it. I would definitely recommend this place
Very busy when we were there. We were lucky to get a table straight away. Carvery was very busy with a long queue, all very nice and replenished well, worth the wait.
