Went here for a dining experience, did not get a chance to experience the rooms but i can say that the food was amazing! I ordered the Steak, meadium rare and it was cooked perfectly, served with a lovely salad, chunky chips and peppercorn sauce as extra for £3.00. Worth every penny, if I ever stay
We went in for a meal. They welcomed us in shown us to a table. They welcomed our dog, which waa very good.
The boy behind the bar was very kind and helpful with what drink to choose. The table service was brilliant she was very friendly, the food was amazing, we didn't have to wait long. All in all
Fab little spot for a nice selection of beers and really good home cooked food with service with a smile. Could not fault my main meal, steak cooked to perfection. Pate for starter was nice, bread was a little too crunchy for my taste but overall fantastic meal.
From the moment we arrived, staff were extremely friendly, helpful and made us feel very welcome.
Room was lovely bed was comfy, and breakfast was delicious.
As mentioned above the staff were brilliant nothing was too much trouble for them.

Visited before and was not disappointed at all. This time booked in for one of their Sunday roasts, it was divine! Best roast dinner I have had in a long time !
Fabulous roast dinner with excellent service . We had Sunday Lunch and it was delicious! There were so many different vegetables and the meat was perfectly cooked.
The Staff here are highly trained professionals . This Pub was very busy , very friendly and beautifully kept.
We visited for Sunday lunch, the food was tasty although the yorkshire puddings were a little singed.
My only criticism is that I would have preferred my vegetables served next to the meat and potatoes and not buried underneath.

been there twice now for Sunday Lunch and both time it was really good. Great taste and plentiful. Will make it a regular one. And looking forward to try at different times other food. Lovely decor too and staff. Highly recommend
Fantastic service the main course came within 10 minutes from ordering. Very friendly service. The food was excellent, the best we’ve all had for a long time. Would highly recommend and would definitely visit again.
Great friendly pub, great food. Tabitha welcomed us and also the guy today that lives not far away. We came on 18th August and today and had great food, and a few good games of of pool for 50p a game
A great local pub in Newtown between Penzance and Helston. I ate here 3 nights in a row. Every time I enjoyed good food, beer and atmosphere. If you like pub food, tasty and fresh hand pump beer and friendly staff I suggest you come here. PS the landlord is brilliant. Cheers
Four of us went for evening meal, lovely location, staff friendly and food top class. Good choice of menu, all cooked fresh and home made - delicious - would definitely recommend 👍
Eaten twice here recently and the food was brilliant, great portions, a good variety of options and the service is really good. 1st visit (Fri 11th Aug) I had steak chips and a peppercorn sauce and it was cooked perfectly, 2nd visit (mon 14th) had the half roast chicken and that was a good size port
I had a fantastic three-night stay here. I was in the area for a wedding and this was the perfect base for it. The rooms are clean, comfortable and with the essentials you’d expect from a B&B. The bed is large, firm and was great for a good night’s sleep. The food I had for dinner was fantastic! Ian
What a surprise! We found the place by accident when we were looking for a place to have lunch.
The service was friendly and promt. The food was well cooked and served quick.
The lady in the bar even helped us to pick some nice places to visit nearby - thanl you for thay too!

We pulled in last minute after a long day out and we are so glad we did! The service was friendly, efficient and polite. They quickly found us a table and took drinks and food orders. The food was lovely - four clean plates from all of us. Good portions which were perfect. Great meal and lovely atmo
