2 new visits to mention how we Have really enjoyed our visits once after spending a day at the zoo. Then we just didn't feel like cooking.
The staff are always so welcoming and also make you feel safe. The food was great too. New photos added.
On arrival we were asked for track and trace details.
Shown to out table by friendly staff member. The tables are distanced well away from other customers, we felt very comfortable and relaxed. They have the greene king app for booking and ordering food & drink.
The food was lovely i had my favourite this time (think its called) sweet potato and chicken pea curry. This is actually more filling than it looks. You can add a naan to the meal. I sometimes order a side of chips but this time I wanted a dessert. I had the vegan option of the cherry bakewell with vegan ice cream it was lovely.
I have since been again and this time had a new dish called the cornish pastie pie. It was very good and does taste very good. The gravy comes in a little gravy boat so you put your own on. I loved the crunchy pastry but it was a bit thick round the crimped crust, I still liked it though.
They do have some really good favourites on the menu and the staff are always very friendly and helpful.
Came here today after visiting the ELR What a nice pub! One of the best I've visited for a while. Big and clean inside with a nice outdoor drinking area. Also a little kids play area which was free that's always winner! We ordered off the app food and drink came quick and we eat everything so can't complain. only gripe was like all green King pubs food is reasonably priced but the price off drinks is ridiculous! £4.50 for a strongbow fruits come on green king sort it out!
Cheap and cheerful
Went today for the first time under its new guise. It’s a steady away eating place and a kind of “get what you pay for” place. No complaints with the place or the cleanliness, the staff (Trafford and Shanice) were extremely pleasant and went above and beyond to make it a great experience. My wife ordered the Yorkshire pudding wrap which was nice and I had the all day breakfast which was a little mediocre and greasy, I expected a bit more for £9. The kids meals went down and treat and they enjoyed the time in the play area. If my meal had of been a touch better it would have been a 5, maybe next time I’ll try the carvery.
Went to the cobblers on Saturday for the first time since the refurbishment and I loved it the menu is still super affordable but it's very stylish and there is a play area for the children inside on the left hand side the quite adult seating on the right so those without children can eat in peace and those with children can watch them play from the comfort of their seats. I had the standard carvery and I can't imagine managing a large the meat was very well done the gammon was a little fatty on the side but that's just because the joint hadn't been trimmed overall very please
So clean and all a staff are friendly and professional food was beautiful definitely recommend will be coming back
Very good service from all the staff. The food is always top notch and amazing value for money.

We didn't have time for food, but sneaky eye at the carvery...it looked amazing 😋

We had a party here for my 4 year old. Very impressed. The staff went all out to give a great experience. All the children loved it. I would definitely come back and recommended having parties here. Debbie the party host was really attentive and made the experience great.

Good selection & variety of food to choose from on the menu for less than £10 pp. I would recommend s visit
Lovely staff came to assist us. We hadn't booked. Friendly Staff came and showed us to a seat nice quiet area. We then ordered, and the food came . Hot, no issues exactly what was ordered. Would go back and try cavery. Was just putting it out when we had ordered. It looks delicious 😋

Lovely clean play area nice friendly staff. Toilets could be checked a little more regular as not always clean but overall lovely place compared to a lot around
Been a few times, some of the worse experiences and food and said I’d never come again. Due to logistical reason I found myself back I must say things have changed the food was really good. The staff were really helpful and nice.
