I visit Josie's in Romsey every couple of months, as I love the place and I love Romsey too — it's a winning combination!
You can always be sure that whatever you order at Josie's, it's going to be fantastic. The restaurant is always busy, and sometimes you'll need to wait up to an hour for a table, but honestly, it's 100% worth it.
The menu is perfectly curated, with a focus on great breakfast and lunch dishes. Some of the menu highlights I've had include the amazing fried chicken wrap, the mind-blowing pancakes, which are always light and fluffy, and the full English breakfast. Also, don't miss out on their milkshakes!
The service at Josie's is always excellent. They are always friendly, attentive, and efficient. Overall, you can almost be guaranteed a great experience at Josie's, and I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a delicious breakfast or lunch in Romsey.
Oh my God!! What a gem this is. Beautiful food, pancakes are damn right naughty but oh so delicious. Coffee was superb (flat white) and I'm already making excuses to come back. Amazing 😍
Would definitely recommend this place, been three times now, each time food & service was brilliant 🤩 they didn’t have a table for me when I arrived so I was added to the list and got a text message to say that my table was ready while I continued shopping Romsey!
Great club sandwich. Lovely öisin in the market square but it was very sunny and a little too hot without sun umbrellas. Service was a little slow but friendly. Reasonable prices for lunch. Will be back. Well Recommended.
I decided to try this place, arrived and was told no tables for 30 mins. Left my phone number, in 10 mins got a text table ready... made my way back and the food, service was fab 👌... I will try it again... thanks 👏🏾
Today I came for a late breakfast & had an insane amount of intolerances making it near on impossible to enjoy anything.
I cannot thank the staff enough for providing a delicious bowl of Tats, bacon, advocado & chilli salsa. A new one for the chef & a definite try again for me at home being new to this malarky.
Couldn’t have been more helpful, I should have popped my steps on the waitresses wrist as she was in & out of the kitchen so much checking if all ok!
Had an excellent lunch at Josie’s. Their food and drink menu is enticing; lots of semi-American themed food! Strawberry milkshake was great, as were our sandwiches and sides. Service towards the end of our experience was a bit slow (e.g. needed water/napkins/the bill). Will definitely be returning again and recommending you to others.
Very lively atmosphere. Staff friendly and quick to take order. Food and drinks arrived quick and were great! Brilliant value for money. Would highly recommend for anyone!
Went once and it got embedded in my mind. Definitely a go-to place when it comes to brunch. Amazing, distinct flavors you won't find easily. Every dish was a treat.
The chili fried chicken burger, albeit a bit spicy, was delightful.
Very tasty and well thought food menu, you love chorizo is there! Eggs Benedict? Avocado Burrito? Yes and yes also there! Even on a busy Saturday afternoon my food arrived quickly and staff was very pleasant.
Easy to order on Facebook. Very quick when I arrived to pickup. Still hot when I got home ( 15 minutes away) travelled well. Importantly it tasted AMAZING. Their menu has been pared down and well thought out. My review is just go 💁🏼♀️. Go for no other reason than fantastic takeout food and a milkshake you’ll be thinking of for days.
Absolutely delicious, waited for a table but they text you once it's available. Food was outstanding and milkshake on point
Heard amazing things about here from friends and locals. I sadly only work in the area and live a fair distance away so have only heard great tales of Josies until today where I had the opportunity to go in with friends. It lived up to the hype. I had the milkshake (pictured), it was a brownie milkshake and they give you the excess in the cold metal mixer to top up your shake as you drink, which I loved. My friend had the coffee milkshake and her daughter had the oreo one stack pancake and a smoothie (pictured). Everything was delicious and I can't wait to go back to try more from the menu.
They have indoor and outdoor seating - we opted for indoor today as it was a bit too warm to be sat outside in direct sunlight
Service was fairly quick but it wasn’t sparkling. The drinks were very good except for the tea. The meals were good too except for the bacon used inside the chicken burgers as it wasn’t crispy.
Very popular so check the waiting time when you arrive. You can queue virtually, so you can shop while you wait.
Definitely worth the wait to get seated will be visiting this place many more time I think 😁
Great food! Big portions for a good price. Service a little bit lacking but more because they stay out of the way as its quite a small space
Book a table ahead here, it is rightfully hugely popular. Food is fresh and delicious, service is fast and friendly. Highly recommend.
