Absolutely delicious! Can’t fault this place. Food delicious and a little bit different. Lovely selection of wine, beers and other drinks. Friendly and welcoming. If I didn’t live 166 miles away Id be a regular visitor!
Came here on a Sunday after a long walk - was hungry and it filled me up with delicious food! Got the roast beef and it was perfect ! The meat itself was perfectly cooked with great marbeling and cut up at just the right thickness. The Yorkshire pudding was fluffy and absorbed the delicious gravy.
10/10!!! I have to admit and say that this was the best roast ever! The pub was so lovely and such a beautiful pub too. I had the roast beef and it was the best thing ever and everything else tasted amazing too! I also had the triple chocolate brownie and that was mouth watering. Will 1000% coming b
Nice place for lunch out, we got there right on 12 and it wasnt busy, but as we were leaving around 1.30 it really started to pick up. Friendly attentive staff, decent menu and not too pricey. Only criticism, my wife had the chunky chips, which had probably been waiting around (no doubt for my very
Dinner with partner and friends on a Friday evening. Quite busy but not packed, nicely decorated inside. Drinks ordered quickly taken (decent Stowford Press cider on draft). Interesting menu, we skipped starters and went straight to mains - all were very good, only minor issue being my trout was a
Excellent meal, couldn’t fault it. A friendly pub with good atmosphere and reasonable prices. The food was very good and everyone was happy. Thanks.
We stopped here for food on the off chance without booking and also with a dog - staff couldn’t have been more accommodating, great local beer on sale and food was top drawer! The pub itself is also extremely well maintained - would recommend! 👍🏼

Had a family Christmas dinner at the Goat. It was truly amazing. The food was fantastic- there aren’t many places you can have great food in abundance. The service was friendly and welcoming. Would definitely recommend this venue.
One of the best Sunday lunches I have had in a while! Booking ahead is essential. Lovely pub in the the Hampshire countryside. Comfortable updated pub interior with welcoming & knowledgeable staff. Traditional sunday roasts really well done. A generous helping of full-of-flavour, rare beef - delish!
