Went there last night for the first time. The place was packed until the final bell and it's not hard to see why. The space is old and traditional, warm and welcoming. It was quite obvious that the staff believe in their pub; the service was very good and the host and servers mostly all made the eff
Came here for a Sunday roast and it’s the best pub roast I’ve had in a long time! Staff were super friendly and efficient, food was tasty and portion sizes were perfect. They even offered our dogs a bowl of beef off cuttings which was a lovely extra touch. Price is very reasonable for a Sunday roa
Had a lovely lunch here yesterday. Lovely cosy atmosphere with the fire going which we were sat right next to. Service was friendly and food arrived quickly. Food was tasty and good value, although the menu said our pie would come with sautéed potatoes but think they were just boiled. Still a lovely
Fantastic place, have reviewed before but had too again as this visit was extra special. Food, great! Bar, great selection. Service? Best I've had for a long while. James was phenomenal and a real asset to the pub.

Between us we only had roasts (3 x beef, 2 x chicken, and 2 x nut), so can’t comment on much else, but the food was super. Huge portions o
Lovely little traditional pub in Romsey. Warm welcome from the friendly staff. We sat in the garden which was really pretty. Both ordered fish and chips, which came with pea puree and homemade tartar sauce. Fish was super fresh and chips crispy. At around a reasonable £15 per head, we will definitel
