I work in the local pharmacy and come here most days for my food despite many other places in the area. I'm fond of my grub and have to say this place is great quality! The staff are grafters, and very friendly. I also run my own business and customer service is just as important as the service you offer. So 5 stars for that too. Wouldn't really go anywhere else unless I had to. Best bits for me are the breakfasts, the eggy bread, the homemade milkshakes and the cheesy background music

What a proper café should be. Welcoming, friendly with no pretence at all. I've eaten there many times and the food is very good indeed. Don't expect Michelin stars but do enjoy a warm welcome, attentive staff and decent traditional food.

Lovely breakfast this morning, good quality ingredients and excellent cup of cappuccino. Attentive staff, looking after a lovely 'older' couple sat next to us

Absolutely love the carrot cake here, can say it's the best ever. On the downside, we have now gone specially for coffee and cake twice, well before the stated closing time (at least 1.5 hours) and the shutter has been down. Have the hours been altered?

My lovely supermodel Fiancee and I were famished and desired a full English in a quaint cafe with the peace of an easy Sunday morning yet celebrated the time honoured tradition of culinary ecstasy. Our expectations were exceeded at Hewitt of Romiley. Tis the breakfast of our content, for our bellies were satiated and our hearts were full of joy and English happiness. Rule Britannia. Britannia rules the breakfast!

Great cafe and very well run. Nice range of breckfast offerings. No long waiting times and toilet facilities on site. Great value for money and situated in heart of Romiley centre opposite the Forum. Top draw

Visited this cafe and was totally amazed just how lovely it is..the food was really homemade and presented beautifully The range of cakes were great and really homemade even a gluten free one which I just had to indulge in it being an orange and almond drizzle type cake, now I just wish I could forget just where this cafe is!!!!!!!!!!! 😊😊😊😊😊😊

Great, local cafe. Food is prepared to order (and is uniformly good). Staff are, without exception, welcoming, friendly and helpful.
