Would share a photo of my meal but I finished it before I could. Great burger, chicken is succulent and the spice is just right, paired with the bun. The chips are crispy and meaty. Service is efficient and staff are well mannered. Will come here over the competitors. Worth the money

For what it is, it’s great. I’d heard a lot about their chicken sandwiches and although it looked pretty disappointing, it tasted delicious - juicy, crispy and the bun soft. The fries were nicely fried and very crispy. I’d say it’s the perfect level of “good” - you really enjoy it, but you (thankfully) won’t develop unreasonable cravings for it. It came out about 30 seconds after I’d ordered, so obviously is sitting around waiting to be served, but that’s standard for fast food joints. Would definitely go again if I was in the area and in the mood for a fried chicken sandwich - I prefer it to KFC.

A couple of things, they don't do blueberry or strawberry jam. But the biggest thing is that the biscuits are not the same as the states. The biscuits are more like hockey pucks, just terrible. Cajun fries are a recommend. Service is always great at this Popeyes. They have the Coke machine that has multiple flavors 😋

Service was a little sloppy, but overall a great experience. Their chicken is well worth the hype I would say, definitely my favourite. The prices are a little high, at around 10 pounds for a medium meal, but their food is miles above more widespread fast food joints, so that's alright. You'll want to get yourself a meal, if only for the amazing fries and refillable drinks! Trust me, the fries alone are worth it. Keep in mind, sat nav may lead you into a shopping centre, but the building is outside on a high street walkway. If you go into the shopping centre parking, you'll have to pay. Best bet is to look up the nearby Asda, as parking is cheaper there, or free if you spend 5 pounds in store.

Located in the heart of Romford market, this American outfit is a welcome addition to the many fast food joints here. Great atmosphere and family friendly. Came with the family to try the food and we were not disappointed. Loved the chicken, it was well prepared-marinated for 12 hours I understand! The chips are delicious - tempted to ask for more. Highly recommended

Good fried chicken, will definitely be coming back here. You can choose between 2 different batter coatings for your chicken: original or spicy. Original was a bit under-seasoned for me, but spicy was absolutely delicious, so I’d definitely opt for that in the future. The chicken was very succulent, fresh and juicy. Highly recommend the chicken strips! Cajun fries were very tasty, although the large portion (in the picture below) is a bit smaller than I expected. Really enjoyed the deluxe chicken burger, very tasty sauce in the burger and the gherkins were nicely pickled. Mac & cheese was gross - tasted very bland & artificial, would not recommend ordering that. Mango habanero & ranch dipping sauces were great, will definitely recommend & order those again. Got the Oreo milkshake, which was okay but it wasn’t blended properly because all the Oreo chunks were too big for the straw and had sunk to the bottom, so once I finished the liquid, I ate the Oreo chunks at the bottom with a spoon; actual milkshake was also quite runny/thin. Spent about £30 on all the food pictured, which was more than enough for 2 of us. Restaurant was clean, plenty of seating, and service was very good. When you order on the electronic self service machines, you can select table service which I really liked; the food was bought out fairly quickly considering how busy it was.

Uniquely different fried chicken but also really familiar. They have a spicy option for all their chickens and it resembles the spicy options you get at a Middle-Eastern KFC. Something I had been craving ever since I moved from them. Oh and for all the Muslims out there, its Halal also. The price is fine. nothing to run home about. the food is good and the staff are nice. A great option if you fancy something different to a KFC.

Great restaurant if you want the best fried chicken there is. Good vibes all over the place. Friendly and welcoming staff. Prices are reasonable. You can pick your own meal digitally and it will reach your table when it's ready.

The spicy burger was lovely. Cajun 🍟were ok. I did know that sauce had to be paid for like mayonnaise and ketchup. Other places you get it free, but it is what it is.

Excellent food. The chicken was very juicy from the inside and crunchy from the outside. The chicken sandwich was great too. The service was very fast compared to other Popeyes and I would like to mention the staff member sakib who was extremely courteous and pleasant.

Food is consistently great, however the service here was appalling. I had 4 children with me, and we waited patiently to be seated. There was nobody to see to us and help us once a table was ready. However once we did get a table, the food arrived quickly.

The staff are extremely attentive, you have to wait during busy periods but that's to be expected. Definitely one of the best pop eyes experiences in London
