Very friendly pub polite barstaff. Prices are very reasonable. We'll worth coming here for a pint or 2
First visit since new management have taken over. Bar staff are a great laugh and very friendly. Beer is clean and average price for romford.
The decor is great with traditional pub setup - plenty of tables and space for a good night to be had!
Bouncers were decent enough and kept the clientel well behaved!
Hope they get the live bands back soon, they made for a fantastic atmosphere.

Great boozer, very interesting clientele. There's a chap called Tony May who looks more and more like a Toad as he age's. Fascinating!
Lovely old fashioned pub. Live bands great atmosphere and staff who are real people not robots. New guvnor has a wicked dry sense of humour. A proper local.

Not to everyone’s taste, bit rough around the edges but I like it. Classic boozer, recently decorated. I think the burgers are above average for pub food but have had a couple of bad experiences when “the chef was off” when he’s there they’re pretty good, when he’s not... they’re not.
Donna is the hostess with the most. Excellent staff but Donna is our favourite. Fab food at extremely reasonable prices. Night times are great here too with live bands for every taste.
Every time me and my friends go in to this pub it is always so friendly. The staff (mostly Irish) are always up for a chat. Food prices are a bit high however I was told that all produce comes straight from Ireland so cant really complain.
100% better then when it was the Lamb
Good classic pub not very expensive and friendly staff.
Came here for lunch and so far I have had an excellent steak and cheese Philly sub and the full English breakfast which were both top notch. Granted it's a pub so has a different atmosphere but the food really is worth trying.

Enjoyed the food and the staff is friendly. Locals seem a bit tough, lunch time and a bar fight occurred while we were there - staff handled the situation very quickly.
