First visit to the Divan, under recommendation from a good friend. We'd both settled on cod and for the price I wasn't expecting the massive piece of freshly fried cod I received and thoroughly enjoyed. Also had enough room for their delicious sticky toffee pudding and custard. Well worth the visit,

Lovely café. Really nice food and reasonably priced. Roast dinner was delicious better than a Toby carvery in my opinion.
We've had breakfast and now lunch at the Divan Café twice and so far it's been all good. The food and drinks are obviously the most important, they have been enjoyable, flavoursome, and of good quality, the service is efficient and friendly and cleanliness is of an acceptable standard.

My late mother loved this place and often visited when shopping at the market. We popped in for a quick bite and were pleased to see that the food was just as good. All four meals were hot and fresh and the girls serving were great. Long live this little cafe.

I love this cafe,the staff are so friendly and the food is delicious, it's very clean and I wish I could go more often.So many options on the menu and very reasonable priced.It is the only place I would eat in Romford.
I've worked at divan since I was 15 and am honest with all my customers, I see what we cook and it's amazing they put a load amount of passion into the food. Don't forget over 80% of food is all homemade. Strongly recommend this cafe.
Superb little cafe, gr8 friendly staff, a huge menu, prompt precise, very competitive prices, good home style food, lovely coffees, better than most of the others, and NO silly small ramekins of beans, ( proper portions), Thank you..👍👍👍👍👍
