Robins Pie & Mash - Romford - Photo album

Have seen this place a lot on social media lately, so thought I’d hop on the Elizabeth Line upto Romford to check it out myself. Robins Pie & Mash is on the main street once you leave the station, passing by the other fast food shops and ice cream vans, I found them, so I lined up as people are que
The food is so delicious, you’ll have your plate within 30 seconds of saying your order, staff are so hard working and friendly. The tables are great, lovely decor. Affordable, and so true to the east end culture. I’ve been to a quite a few pie and mash shops, this one is the best.
Every time I visit Romford this is my go to venue for food. Always found this place to be friendly with very nice staff. Food always great, hot and fresh. Cannot fault anything about this place.
I love a pie and mash! When I fly over I always come here for my fix. 2 Veg Pie and 3 Mash with Liquor. The staff are lovely and it's my 3rd time coming to their establishment. Highly recommend if you love the old school English food and you're an expat!!!
a good p & m shop very clean inside. the pies were a little peppery it but was not over powering. just put up their prices and are in line with most shops of its type. only spoons and forks in the trays which is great to see p & M should never be eaten with a knife........never.
Turned up at the Quadrant Arcade site and was greatly distressed to note that the place was abandoned! I was so upset that I started smacking my head with both hands and ululating like a banshee. A passing person took pity on me and directed me to the new South Street location, just opposite Primark
Absolutely cracking Pie and Mash with a nice cup of Rosie Lee, to wash it down with. Brilliant service as well, staff can't do enough for you. Definitely be a regular customer there. Thoroughly recommend a visit there.
Good old fashioned english food. Really can't go wrong. The menu was not expensive at all and it was very tasty. Pop in for a quick lunch/ dinner. You will love it.
Usually go on a Friday, and it’s always busy. I come out of the east end and I like this pie and mash. I’ve never had cold food here and for the person who says the liquor tastes like stewed eels that’s because it’s made with the water the eels are cooked in, like it should be.
Robins do the best Pie & Mash. Great shop and staff are friendly too.
A good pie and mash, The liquor was nice too. The apple pie has good chunks of apple and flavour was very nice, I think the cost of the apple pie is a bit pricey 4.00 with custard an extra 3.00 sorry I made my own custard. I’ve not eaten inside yet I bought it to take away it was still hot by time
Can never resist food from here, always amazing. Great new location
Overall good but the liquor was not hot enough.
What can I say...if you're an East Ender... it's in your blood, if you're not you'll find nothing like a proper pie and mash anywhere else in the world...I remember vividly all the Kelly shops down the Roman...up Bethnal Green too! I'll always stop off for a pie and mash...👍😃👍
Well done Robins so clean much atmosphere and really friendly staff all dressed in spotless whites and lovely food and prices
Always good pie and mash with lots of liquor 👍
Been going to Robins for over 30 years from when they were in East Ham. Always a great plate of pie and mash!
