We have just got back from our first meal here. It was fantastic. Great customer service. Big outside area. Dogs allowed. Comfy chairs. Food was so yummy. Home made chips, onion rings and yorkshire pudding. Definately will be going again. Plenty of parking available

Excellent service all round. Very friendly attentive staff. Me & my partner had steak. It was superb! Chips, onion rings, mushrooms, everything on the plate! Can't believe I've never eaten there before. Been missing out. We shared a couple of puddings with the kids. Also really nice. Good selection of drinks. Will definitely be back. Been back since. Had shin of beef. Lovely dish!!

Dogs allowed so a great start. Very warm welcome from the staff and also some of the locals. Food was great and the chips were amazing. The specials sounded amazing but we chose off the menu. We felt like we stepped into someone’s home, lovely. Will be coming back.

We've been meaning to come here for a bite to eat for a long while and we're glad we did! The pub has a lovely ambience about it and the food was absolutely perfect, we went in for lunch and there was an offer for 2 courses for £10, we both had this and didn't regret it, starter and main were presented impeccably and tasted amazing. The beer was good and the staff were friendly. We will definitely come back on an evening and try something off the main menu which looks excellent. Overall an absolutely faultless meal, really enjoyed it and will 100% be back!!

I must be honest I'm quiet the fussy chap. I often go to Miller and Carter for a decent steak but today we decided to go to the Jinnie In Rolleston-on-dove. When we arrived we noticed there was a steak special for the night (Tuesday) 2 steaks and a bottle of wine for £40. The steaks were absolutely incredible. Best steak I've had in a very long time. The service was impeccable and overall experience was great. Will definitely be coming back..

As soon as we walked in got a fabulous welcome from staff and locals. Great food and a great price. Lovely ales and ciders. Very dog friendly. Booked online but didnt need to. Shame we are only in the area for 1 night. Will definitely stop again if in the area.

Went this week to celebrate our son getting anew job , four people in total , we all had different meals and it was all really good . I can say that we tend to go here probably only once or twice a year, and have been going over the last 10 yrs , and the standard never drops . Excellent.

Just on a visit, to the area and what a welcome. (Motorhomers). Great bit of crack(banter), I hope the lad in Fancy dress at the bar wasn't offended, I know it was his birthday😁. The food was First class, and we thought it reasonably priced. If we are in the area again we will definitely call in. We all ate different meals, and all were great.

Bar was pretty well filled when we went in; friendly and efficient bar staff found us a table in the restaurant - perhaps this was a little crowded but this added to the village pub atmosphere and didn't detract from our experience at all. The menu was quite extensive and also included kebabs, paella and pizzas from a pizza oven. Service was quicker than we expected and kebabs were really great. So was the beer!

Our group of 5 visited The Jinnie for lunch. Great food, nice atmosphere and really lovely service. Gluten free options were available and there was something on the menu to suit everyone.

A lovely pub. I stopped in for a cheeky beer as I was passing, and it's not half bad. They've got a reasonable selection of traditional and craft ales, so that's all good! A bit of a strange feel to the inside of the pub, the bar area feels a bit like someone's lounge, which is very comfortable and cosy, but it made me worry if I spilled my beer it would ruin their best carpet. Overall, though, a nice upmarket feel that suits Rolleston, but if you're after a more traditional boozer, it may not be for you.

When is a pie not a pie. Oxford Dictionary states, a filling encased in pastry. Not I'm afraid a bowl of stew with a pastry cap on.

We had a lovely dinner on Friday evening! Lovely see such a thriving venue and the food was amazing. We had the Pork Belly to start with and dipped into the sauce with Gambas was a fabulous! The Bubble and Squeak was awesome too as was the Pie and Lasagna. Gail and Maisy were exceptional and really looked after us. We’ll certainly be back as it was super easy to book a table online and hopefully when the weather is better we can sit outside. Thank you again!
