It was a great experience, but if I be honest a bit overpriced.
Some of the dishes were so tasty but some others not.
Monkfish was so tasty, seafood was so fresh and well dressed.
Steak and lobster wasn’t in good quality of taste, we had to return it and kindly they have brought another.
Staffs are so kind and friendly.

An unexpected gem. I moved to the area recently and this was my first time eating out locally. I was beautifully surprised.
The restaurant accommodated our late booking(near closing time) and the food and drinks were amazing, will definitely be back.
Great food presentation, recomending the lobster, rich in flavour. Monkfish tail is impressive as well. The starters and mains are all exceptional.
Visited for breakfst today. Great staff! Not sure why but there was a very long wait for mushrooms on toast and pancakes. As an ex chef i understand these things happen. Our drinks were on the house due to the wait which was a lovey gesture. Pancakes are really good! The wild mushrooms on sour dough were ok but would of been nice with a different selection of mushrooms and more seasoning. Will be back for evening meal!
Food is absolutely top notch, arguably, one of the nicest restaurants in Kent.
The meal timing is perfect, meal presentation is perfect, and flavour pairings a wonderful experience. Atmosphere is chill and relaxed at all times of the day.
Overall, a cosy, wonderful experience that everyone paying a trip to Rochester should try at least once. It will be sure to bring you back for more.
Extremely impressed. Initially wasn't very inspired by the main menu selection online but the chef's specials are what really shine. Everything was very tasty and well presented. Some of the best scallops I've ever had.
Didn't try any sushi but will be back asap to do so. Well worth a visit whether you're visiting Rochester or you're a local. A very welcome new addition to the high street.
Lovely fish and seafood restaurant. We came for lunch and the food was great. We had a grilled fish platter with 3 types of fish, prawns and a scallope, all cooked really well. We also enjoyed the mussels that came with excellent chips. The service was friendly and we enjoyed seating right by the lovely high street watching the world go by through the large open glass doors.
Loved every minute at this restaurant. The staff is very friendly, smiley and helpful.
The food was exceptional. The sauce in mussels was very yummy.
I was offered a surprise mocktail and was really nicely surprised - very delicious.

First visit as a treat for our first Christmas at our new home and was out for our Christmas date🥰
Heard great things so took a chance. Honestly? Lovely! The skate was perfectly cooked, same for the monkfish. Nothing was too salty like some fish restaurants. Is it pricer than some places? Yes. But if you want to make an impression, have a special occasion or just treat yourself, then it’s totally worth it. I wish there was more shrimp on my potted shrimp crumpet but other than that was delicious!
The interior is modern, sleek and clean without feeling pretentious.
Cocktails were brilliant my favourite being the Champagne Colada(a must try).
The staff are so friendly and 2 days before Christmas were in high spirits which was heartwarming to see. We were surprised with a complimentary glasses of bubbly and the bill was more than reasonable. I will definitely be bringing friends and family and I think will definitely be a go to for date night!

Ordered a full English with a latte and it did not disappoint. For £10 it’s amazing value in todays world and the quality was excellent. Many places due to cost constraints are swapping products for lower quality items to cut costs but the only thing you achieve here is cutting customer numbers.
My first time visiting and rate this place highly. The staff are welcoming and attentive, not making too much fuss. Definitely worth supporting local at this amazing venue.

Really enjoyed our impromptu visit to Fishat55. Food was wonderfully cooked and the service was friendly and attentive despite it being very busy. Crab arancini to start followed by the Hake with clams and mussels. All too quality.
