Whenever I'm in Rochester (which is infrequent). I always make it a point after shopping, to pop in to the Eagle pub.
It has a nice comfortable and relaxed easy atmosphere with a great selection of beers available. They also do meals although I haven't tried those.

Came in with the Mrs and our newborn, the first outing with the little one, the manager, bar staff and chef were all so friendly and accommodating. A lovely selection of beers and the food was all homemade and to die for! Thanks for today guys, Ive never left a review but you guys really deserved it

Always come here when I’m in Rochester. Good traditional pub, great selection of beers and wines. Food is always good and freshly cooked to order, I’ve never had a bad meal here. Nice beer garden, staff always friendly and they have live music on sometimes.
