Went on a Saturday for lunch and had the prawn crab chorizo linguine was really nice and the staff were kind , just wish there was more non meat options on the menu the kids menu does have a vegan option though.
We passed through Rochester back to Belgium and saw this pub, so we took the chance of tasting their food, and it was just great, enormous portions and very tasty. Friendly staff and a really cozy feeling.
Popped in here for a “quick” lunch on our travels. We managed to find a park up the road a bit for an hour. Unfortunately the parking expired before our lunches arrived. So I quickly dashed out to move the car, which meant I was away from the table for twenty minutes, during which time the meals arrived. (Of course!) A little tardy, yes.
But I have to admit the meal was worth waiting for. I could tell you I just had a burger, but that would be understating it. It was a BURGER! (In fact I’m salivating just thinking about it!)
Nice ambience inside, and a gorgeous looking building from the outside. Friendly, accommodating wait-staff.
Popped in here on 29th Dec for a pub lunch. Had steak pie, mash and cabbage. All cooked really well and a really tasty meal. Well done!
Went in today 7/04/23 with my wife. She had Firecracker chicken. I had King Burger from specials board. Fabulous meal and wow - seriously best burger ever!!

What a venue and what a team! On Friday we visited with family, Ellie was serving us, her energy and attentive service made for a wonderful dining and drinking experience. Food was delicious, and prices are so reasonable. Burgers are not your run of the mill shop bought quarterpounders, they are thick, juicy and cooked to perfection. We had a member of our group who was gluten free. The food was sent in the food lift on its own to make sure of no cross contamination. How good is that?!
On Saturday we hired the upstairs for a party, the whole experience from viewing, booking, agreeing the menu, getting there and setting up, settling up. Everything was done with such an ease that it took away all worries. The food was fantastic, with everyone at the party saying how good it was. We had our own bar with personal bar staff. The value was brilliant. If you are thinking about hiring a venue, visit Rachel and Tom and have a word.

Really was surprised by the lovely decor in this place. Staff were so friendly and although we only had chicken wings which were bloody amazing we are going back very soon to try the rest of the menu.
Big shout to the barman....was teacher who gave us a warm welcome and his friendly banter. Rare to have a nice conversation these days x
Dog friendly pub with a lovely view of the river, we were made to feel so welcome and our drinks were brought to the table (fur-babies included).
