The George Vaults - Rochester - Photo album

Excellent Sunday roast in a lovely atmosphere! My experience at the George Vaults is something that I want to suggest to those who decide to spend a day in this lovely town not far from London. I ordered the Sunday roast Tris to taste all types of roasts available with the option of dairy-free! The
The food and serving was exceptional, kids menu was wonderful unique, the garden is absolutely gorgeous and it had an amazing, homy, atmosphere. Would 100% recommend to go and enjoy yourself, your friends and family together. This place deserves a much higher rating.
Friendly staff, reasonable prices, nice atmosphere. The seats at the front are amazing for people watching.
Was booked into the vaults room at 1pm, arrived early and was escorted to the nice, warm, relaxing marquee and had a nice glass of wine before our scheduled afternoon tea. Excellent service and plentiful food.
A really warm, welcoming bar. The best peach blinis I've had in this country!! My boys have said there is is a good selection of beers also. Would definitely recommend if passing through
All I can say is just wow, what a hidden gem A real cross between a lively high street bar and an up town classy restaurant Love the idea of a beer garden with outside serving stations and function venue to hire out Food was out of this world, smelt great, tasted amazing and the service was on po
Went here in the evening for a drink and a dance. Busy but not uncomfortably busy. All ages there which was nice to see. Not my scene at all but the garden area was lovely. Loads of nice seats, heaters above you when it's cold, personal DJ and table service. Very friendly staff..would visit it in th
On a warm summer Bank Holiday Sunday eve, we had a few drinks and sat out in the garden area. DJ playing tunes, and everyone was having a lovely time. What more could you want?
Service was prompt but not rushed. Staff were helpful and cheerful. We visited the vaults briefly as there was a wedding party expected. Food was tasty and menu had a reasonable choice.
Best place to drink in Rochester love the outdoor drinking area out the back
Great place to eat drink and be sociable. Delighted to see they offer breakfast menus, very good value too. , bit difficult for wheelchair access at main entrance and to get to garden would need to access down side of building, on checking with staff happy to open side gate to allow access. Garden i
Forget the tourist theming and the lounge area. Sure, do take a look at the 14th Century vault, take a breath of musky air and admire the moody lighting. The one thing you must do is grab a seat in the relaxed back yard and order anything from the menu. You will not be disappointed; the food is exce
Fantastic service!! πŸ•ΊπŸ»πŸ•ΊπŸ» Wonderful cocktails!! Esp the Creamsicle 🍦 Delicious food!! 🌯 Custom made chocolate martini made by the charming barman was the best cocktail I have ever tasted! 🍸 My only gripe would be that the tofu wrap was tasteless. Please add more flavour and a bit of salt πŸ™πŸ½ Thank yo
Great pub with a good atmosphere on a Saturday afternoon, especially the large garden out back. The service however is poor, they do table service but never come around despite the many staff. Booking a table is recommended.
From start to finish, this place is nothing short of a 5 star rating. The staff are welcoming and the atmosphere is relaxing. Their food was delicious . served timely..the portion sizes are just right!! To top it all off , you dont have to break your bank account to eat here. Its reasonably priced
