My mum and I had afternoon tea at Peggottys Parlour this week. We were super impressed! The portion sizes were generous, delicious and by far the best quality I've experienced in Rochester. And I've had a fair few afternoon teas � 100% recommend. You will enjoy the friendly service. Thank you xx

Lovely little tea room overlooking the cathedral. Only had tea and cake but the lemon sponge cake was fresh and a huge piece. Very reasonable price and lovely service. Will visit again. It is quite small so perhaps book if you want to be sure of a table.
Me and my husband were in Rochester yesterday and fancied an afternoon tea.. went into the tea room and asked if this was possible as had not booked .. they were happy to accommodate us and was served a beautiful afternoon tea for 2 .. we will definitely be returning and will make sure we book next time xx the ladies serving were so helpful and friendly and food was yummy .. even got a box to take home the leftovers x
Lovely food and friendly staff as always, we are not local but when we are in Rochester this is our favourite place for lunch.

Lovely, very busy when we called in for a bacon roll and coffee for breakfast. Staff very friendly, will go back next time we are in the area.
We had a light lunch of tuna mayo toastie with a lovely delicate salad. Very reasonable, friendly staff and they sell homemade gypsy tart!

Great little tea room. Food is delicious and service was good. Lovely outlook from the window, looks on to the cathedral. Good menu choice. Only negative is there is no outdoor seating. Would definitely go back and would definitely recommend to others.
Stopped for breakfast, Christmas Market weekend. Had the full English was very nice, not greasy, generous. Coffee nice too. Cakes looked amazing but didn't taste them, people were eating for breakfast. Staff helpful and smiley 😊
Peggotty's Parlour was recommended by a colleague, and I was not disappointed with the service I received. I went there for afternoon tea and plain and friut scones which were divine. The atmosphere was clam and you get a perfect veiw that looks over ro the cathedral.
Great little gem not to be missed! We stumbled across this place when we came for the Christmas market, such a treat and a great selection of food! I had sardines on toast which is my favourite and it’s not often you find this on the menu at many cafes. The cake selection looked great but we were too full to have any, definitely will come back again!

Very nice experience. Really friendly staff, lovely food. We both had the cheese and mushroom omelette with salad. We will definitely be returning to try a different item on the menu. Would of loved some cake as it looked very nice but too full up from the lovely lunch. Definitely recommend this place.
We had the cream tea, and it was wonderful. The scones had just come out of the oven and were still warm. The staff are lovely, and you have a great view of the cathedral.
