The White Horse - Rochester - Photo album

Nice and big pub with a good menu section of food.and all you would expect for drinks as well. There is a car park next door with a very good amount of space. The food they serve is really well portioned and is really tasty! I would even argue the portions are too big, but don't think it's a bad thi
Went there today and had the fish pie, partner had the signature burger. Both dishes were lovely, the fish pie was very tasty and extremely well made. My partner said the burger was up there with the best ones she had tasted. Only here for a few days but definitely would return and recommend. S
We had a very good meal today - prawn cocktail followed by beef and ale pie, which was extremely tasty. Apple crumble to finish. As a previous reviewer said "what's not to like?"
Lovely meal, great service, what an amazing place in a little village. We ordered the special menu on the board which was the pork belly and duck, and baileys parfait and creme brulee for dessert, it was cooked to very good restaurant standard, highly recommended.
Nice views from the outdoor area. Great on a sunny day. Went there about 18 months ago. One of the best burgers in a pub I've ever had
Lovely pub and staff, the food is delicious
Have just been here for Sunday dinner we were a party of 4 and it was absolutely faultless from start to finish the food was amazing we all had the mixed meat roast it was piping hot full of flavour and presented well. There is also a good selection of starters and desserts. The restaurant isn't big
Brilliant pub, super friendly bar staff, nice atmosphere. I didn't eat here but the food I saw coming out looking amazing and only heard compliments coming from the tables. Will definitely come back to try the food at some point in the future. A brilliant selection of drinks both on tap and spirt wi
It's a nice place to visit. We had drinks and food which was Ok. I ordered Fish and chips and it all looked nice but the fish wasn't good quality and it was way to oily. We enjoyed our time in here anyway. Lovely garden and staff.
Great food and service great value
Staff are lovely, food is amazing offering a discount for the 'more mature' of us and kids. Fab garden and regular entertainment... Dog friendly.... I'm sure I'll think of something else in a minute!
This is a hidden gem. An unassuming old pub serving really good homemade food. Not typical fast food pub meals as might be expected at first sight but a great variety of dishes including sea bass, pork fillet and steak together with a good variety of desserts all beautifully cooked and presented. Th
We visited this lovely pub for lunch. We live on Devon/Cornwall border and used to paying far more for equivalent standard. The food and service was excellent. The steaks were tender and flavoursome with the burger equally good. The calamari, prawn and mussel starters were all tasty and good siz
Went there Saturday evening for a meal with family. Don't pass it by. loved the food. Unexpected for the area and type of pub. I've eaten in some very good establishments and this meal exceeded some of those. Mussels were lovely. Fries to die for. Nachos (at last done properly minus a little sour c
