such a fantastic place, we stayed locally and decided to give this place a try to watch the rugby, the staff are very polite and accommodating and the food is very very nice. great to find such a place that is so welcoming. we will for sure be visiting again.
If you want a place to go where you can feel at home then this is the place to be. All the staff are very welcoming and friendly and the food is of a very high standard with very generous portions at affordable prices. Carvery on a Sunday is one of the best i have had as are the meal deals through out the week. Would recommend The Rock Inn as a home from home local where you can feel safe and relax in such a friendly atmosphere
Hosted a Baby shower at this venue yesterday. Would highly recommend to anyone. The buffet food of Chips and a selection of sandwiches were to a high standard and a manable price for all. The staff were extremly helpful from the moment we arrived. Brilliant afternoon had by all. Thank you �
Fantastic meal,proper fresh veg,proper food,no matter what you order it will be impressive,as for pudding,well no words to say how fab,fantastic,and gorgous,wish they did pudding club,would be first in line,Yes proper Cornish clotted cream, < or custard ,or ice cream > you could say proper Job,The senior lunches are a joy on the plate,thank you

Being Easter Sunday, it was very busy (always a good sign!) we had to wait for food but all the staff were VERY apologetic.
The carvary was well worth the wait! And the pudding was delicious too!

Impromptu stop for coffee and ended up having a very enjoyable lunch.would highly recommend the food.

Popped in for a quick lunch and very impressed , we had the special lunch menu followed by some pretty classy desserts, proper job as they say in Cornwall.
Stopped here to eat a few times. Had the Sunday carvery which was cooked well & tasted great! Good selection of lunchtime specials with substantial servings for the price. Staff are always pleasant and attentive. Highly recommend :)

Used to stop here to eat regularly 30 years ago. Was always good. Met friends here for dinner Friday 15 September. Staff welcoming, food was excellent and very reasonably priced. Pub was busy but a great atmosphere. Will definitely start using it again.

Came here for a carvery on a Sunday. The food was very good, decent portions of meat. The staff were friendly and the atmosphere was very relaxed. Would recommend to others. The price was very reasonable.
Had dinner here tonight. Had the lamb shoulder, it literally fell apart straight way. My friend had the chuck burger and said it was the best burger she has ever had. Really generous portions for the price too. Definitely recommend and will return for food. Had drinks after and the atmosphere was so inviting! Everyone was so kind and helpful(staff) and locals they were so friendly and including. Definitely recommend and will return.
Absolutely tremendous evening in a terrific atmosphere. The service from Shannon, Jamie and Adney was on point, attentive, absolutely efficient and terrifically executed and the atmosphere was outstanding. The food cooked was absolutely first class, indeed myself and my fellow guests discussed the fact you'd get less than this quality at a far greater price at places such as Stein at Padstow; in Chris they've got a phenomenal chef and the meals were well proportioned and outstanding value. Cannot recommend enough, will absolutely be here again.
We went on Sunday for the carvery. The quality was really good but the lack of selection of veg let it down a little. Puddings were excellent.
Popped in for a drink, the food menu looked nice but we didn't eat here. There is a nice from the pub to a stone tower that takes about 20 mins. It's worth a visit (it's free) then a drink to refresh afterwards.
Good Sunday lunch not far from the A30 if you want a friendly rest and meal out. They are family and dog friendly. The landlord really cares about giving good service. The steak night is highly recommended and great valve.
