Excellent value for money! Very generous portions. Friendly welcome. As part of a large group (larger than booked/planned) we were warmly greeted by a friendly and attentive team. It’s a charming place with plenty of choice to suite many dietary requirements. Perfect after a refreshing cold dip in the nearby waterfall. Vegans won’t feel left out here! Photos are of the vegan afternoon tea.

First time we’ve been to Healey Dell Tea rooms and we’ll certainly be going back. We had the afternoon tea which came out absolutely beautiful and tasted delicious. The decor and music in the tea room itself was amazing. Never been anywhere quite like it. So English and traditional. My Mum kept saying my Nan would have loved it here. Would definitely recommend anyone to please go! Thank you again xxx

Fantastic place - always love coming here whatever the occasion, casual or otherwise. So accommodating, we had a 9 month old, 6 year old, a dog and 2 90 year olds in our party of 7 and they catered for all!! We sat inside but I have sat outside before and both are great. It feels like a hidden gem but it’s actually usually pretty busy. Would recommend to anyone.

Lovely tearoom at start/end of the Healey Dell walk. Breakfasts are amazing, nice outdoor eating area undercover, quaint indoors for afternoon tea

Cannot praise the Healey Dell Tea Rooms enough. They go the extra mile for their customers. Great customer service, wonderful food and fantastic atmosphere. They really are a jewel in the crown of Rochdale. We are regular visitors and we love the place. The tea rooms are well worth a visit!

Booked an afternoon tea for my friends birthday and it was the best afternoon tea I've ever had! Was skeptical as I ordered a veggie one but the spread was beautiful, lovely selection of cakes and different sandwiches (avocado, coronation chicken but with carrot). Service was great, the chef came out to talk us through our selection. The quiche was incredible! Didnt finish it all so had a lovely goodie bag to take home, ill definitely be back again.

Fabulous afternoon tea with a party of nine. Service was good, the food was great, especially the quiche. We ended up taking some home in a doggy bag. The kids' afternoon tea was impressive.

Visited the dog friendly cafe and sat in the outdoor space today after a wander around the beautiful nature reserve. Warm welcome from staff who are really accommodating of dietary restrictions too. One photo shows my vegetarian sausage and egg on gluten free bread. I really enjoyed my loose leaf peppermint tea and food. My partner enjoyed the coffee and a meaty sandwich. Nice big tables, airy, feels spacious. There's even a large carabina for attaching your dog lead too. Parking gets full in the free car park so arrive earlier during busy times (weekends/bank hols).

Walked down for a Sunday roast dinner and it was so good. Very busy but staff were very welcoming and helpful and apologised for any wait. Great family atmosphere sitting outside in sun. Owners have made it beautiful with outdoor seating, gorgeous flowers and pots, coloured lights and the music was ‘old time’. What a lovely afternoon. Congratulations on a such a successful tearooms !

Made to feel welcome and cosy on a damp Friday lunchtime, so much going on there, huge menu to chose from stunning scenery..perfect place to drop off to after a country walk. Steeped in history as though you walk back in time. There Christmas should be special
