Was in Rochdale for work so ate alone, staff were friendly and helpful, menu looked amazing. I choose the Staff Curry and Garlic Naan, both were well presented and very tasty. Beer was good and under £3 a pint I was quite astonished as in normally pay well over £5. Overall a very pleasant experience even considering I was eating alone. I will be back if I stay in Rochdale again!
Been here a few times and the food and drinks have been outstanding. But this time we went to bombay brew for bottomless brunch over Bank Holiday weekend and it was amazing. The food was gorgeous and the drinks were fantastic, the staff made sure we was well looked after. I definitely would recommend the bottomless brunch when they do one again.
Wasn't blown away by the food, went for the Bombay BBQ special, so expected a nice mixture of grilled foods but a lot of it was fried. Nice flavours and good service so would go back to try something different.
The restaurant has a superb interior decor - that's the first impression. The pub side is very comfy and cosy. In light of this, here comes the food. Delicious, comforting flavoursome, tangy, sweet, Umami, tender...and a great naan too. I did not expect to be that impressed, but I am.
Staff is friendly and helpfu tool. What's not to like? I'll definitely go back.
Ordered 4 dishes between the two of us expecting smaller portions as it was so reasonably priced, nice big portions. Two would have been enough.
Food itself was delicious and served beautifully. Apparently the menu changes every 10 days.
The young man who served us was friendly, polite and very helpful.
Will definitely be back
This was the second time we've been to Bombay Brew and it is still an amazing place.
The food is delicious, the staff are super friendly and the atmosphere of the place is really chill and friendly. If you want a decent curry in Rochdale Town centre this is the place to go.
The BEST curry we have EVER had it was just super lush. The decor was beautiful and cozy and the staff were fantastic. Really fast service and just perfect end to our family day out. Thanks so so much. Lush
good food ( like fusion indian 🇮🇳 food)
good bar.
good people that server you.
deserves 5 stars.
if you are here give it a go!
Really nice new restaurant in Rochdale Town Centre. If you've not visited the town for a while you may be surprised at how many nice pubs and restaurants have popped up over the past year.
Bombay Brew is located at the bottom of Drake Street opposite The Butts and the new Shopping Centre which is under construction.
The venue has been recently refurbished and has a separate bar and restaurant area.
I'm not sure if you need to book, but I messaged them on Facebook to make a reservation which was quick and easy.
There's a wide selection of craft drinks which were all reasonably priced.
The menu is mostly side dishes, so you'll probably need to order at least two side dishes to feel full. There are also main menu options and starters.
The food theme is Indian Street Food with a North England twist. We all liked our mains and side dishes and the service was also great.
Overall I would highly recommend you try this restaurant if you get a chance. Bombay Brew is a unique restaurant in an up & coming location and we found the prices to offer great value for money.
If Bombay mix & Bombay snacks pique your interest, head to Bombay Brew
Bombay Brew has more of a bar setup specialising in Indian Pale Ale, but they do have a good seating area in their location in the centre of Rochdale. It’s so cutely decorated with elephants and a mini tuk-tuk directing you to the restaurant area. During the daytime, it’s not as busy so if the bar vibe isn’t your thing, go earlier in the day.
Now, who doesn’t like a bit of Street Food and especially when they do it so well;
\Masala Dosa £6 - This looked interesting with everything together and cute flowers on top. The paneer gave it such a softness and was a really, nice touch
\Bom-bae Lolly Pops £6 - One of their best-sellers. We were expecting a l\amb tikka style, but it’s more like a kofta. You’ve heard of cake pops and now there’s meat-pop...pick it up, give it a dip in the mellow, onion sauce, add the Bombay mix crunch and eat away. Once you pop, you can’t stop :)
\Tandoori Fried Chicken Wings £5.50 - you know they’ve thought it through when the finger bowl comes out with this dish. They were so yummy, saucy chicken wings in a sweet yet spicy in-house tandoori special
From the sides;
\Punjabi Poutine £5 - Our ultimate FAVOURITE! It’s the perfect side dish or even just good for a snack, consisting of saucy fries with a fried crunchy bits and Bombay mix
Then, off to the house curries;
\Indriya with Chicken £8 - This is supposedly like jalfrezi and is good for those non-adventurous. It was very edible but needed that little va va voom - maybe a little more spice and salt
We’re so intrigued by the other Street Food items, so wait for our next venture to Bombay Brew

Interesting Offering in Rochdale.
Visited Bombay Brew last week and was very much impressed with the dishes on offer and quality of produce.
The 'Staff Curry' was particularly flavoursome.
The only reason I have not given a 5 is for the below reasons:
Food didn't travel particularly well - lots of leakages.
The Fish Tikka was somewhat a peculiar flavour (a little watery)
Some items of the menu in terms of price I feel are a little 'heavy' - Peshwari Nan for £4.50 - that's city centre prices.
However, I will definitely visit again and eat in the restaurant.
