Best chippy going, Pie, Chips and gravy in a big round silver tray at Β£3.90, not only cheap but top notch quality, the gravy is something else. Chips cooked to perfection and Pies are Hollands too.
Lost faith with our usual Chinese. Tried here for the first time, delivery was prompt and food was so good, very tasty. Hoping we've found our new favourite π

Iv been going here now for over 10 years best takeaway in rochdale id say never any issues and if they are and you tell staff they sort it out for you. No problems food good
Very nice food, prepared in a reasonable time and reasonably priced. Pre phone your order to collect or delivery by taxi at additional cost πππ
I've been coming here for a few years now and really enjoy the food. Chips well cooked, curry and gravy are very good, and the chicken fried rice is exactly how i like it. Prices are very reasonable and portion sizes are on the larger side (adding to the value for money.)
They do not offer delivery service so if you want it delivered you will be paying a taxi fare ontop of your order price. That doesnt bother me personally as i always ring, place my order and drive to collect.
Overall i would highly recommend Hamer Chop Suey Bar as a cracking little chinese takeaway.
Not been here for a while but I've never had a bad meal her I've known this place over 37 years. now the family that own it now may not appear to be the same but that's because it's over 10 years since I work in Rochdale so I've only called when passing occasionally and able to stop when there open of course .but if I lived locally to the place I'd probably use it more often ...the Chinese meals are good also ...So I suggest you just give it a try ...
This chippy has been going for ages. We used to travel from Kirkholt when I was a child to come here. And that was over 30 years ago. Melt in the mouth chips; juicy thick gravy; tasty curry etc. Try their chicken curry with fried rice it's amazing. Everything that I've tried from the take away menu is also excellent.
Only call to rochdale once in a while now and if we stay for tea I go here best satay ever!! Well.. i cant fault anything iv ever tried from here.. clean tidy friendly family based staff.. lived in Rochdale most of my life and still choose this asian chippy over all iv tryed over the years
Been a couple of time now. Portions are very ample and tasty. Staff are really nice and friendly. My new local.
Food is good, service is good. Not restaurant grade as you would expect but prices have gone up so expect qualify to reflect the prices which it sometimes does not
