Had a lovely meal here with my wife midweek. I had fajitas and my wife had scampi, and we both thought it was lovely. Had the buffet breakfast - really nice with lots of choice. Decent price - £6.95 - will definitely return and will take the family and try the evening menus. My only grumble would be the coffee wasn't hot enough from the coffee urn... by the time I added my milk it was warm at best! Definitely
Lovely from the outside, and although looking a tad tired on the inside, furnishings still comfortable (I believe it'll shortly be refurbished?). Since the new owners have taken over they've given this place a new lease of life.. More choice especially the veg section when your having carvery. And the staff are more than approachable. Looking forward to test the new breakfast menu
I was in my heavily pregnant scruffs (leggings, t-shirt and fitflops) and had my 2 year old with me when I collected my hubby from work. Lovely setting for a meal. The bar area is big and has lots of large Windows for the perfect country view. The Meals are very good value & it's also a carvery. The Staff are very welcoming and make you feel at ease. Nice place.
Food was really nice. Service was very good. Staff were very friendly. Best buffet breakfast we have had. Great choice even had a separate well done bacon section and “cheesy beans”. Plenty of veggie options too if that’s your thing. Fruit juice cereals and endless tea and coffee all for under £7.00. Really can’t fault it and will definitely be back...
Considering how busy the restauraunt was we were attended to quickly. We chose the carvery which was of a high standard with a choice of three meats and a wide variety of differant vegetables, we particularly liked the cauliflower cheese. I would highly recommend this restaurant for reasonably price

Excellent value food. Service slow. Table not cleared at the end of first course. Staff didn't return to ask if we wanted anything more. It's a shame because the food is good, access is good and it's a pleasant atmosphere.
