Had my birthday party there on Saturday 17th June. Can not praise Saun and Jill enough as well as the rest of the team. It was a brilliant night and they really went above and beyond to make sure it was perfect. Loads of my family and friends have messaged to say how welcoming they made everyone feel. Some had never been before but tell me they'll definitely be going back. The food is fantastic and very reasonable with large portions too. I really can't rate them highly enough. Went last night for a friends birthday, ordered Korean Chicken wings but since I do t do spice asked if they were very spicy. The guy said no so order, however he did check with the chef who said they had a kick but could do plain ones. When they came there were 4 decent sized wings and with fries it was a main meal for me. Excellent customer service, good food and good atmosphere. Well done will be back.
Beautiful community place! Shaun and Jill are the best. Lockdown allowed them to create the most welcoming place around. Lovely chill daytime vibes if you want to work and eat and coffee. Good quiz night. Great party nights. These guys bend over backwards to look after all their guests and friends 🙂
Visited again in July on a Tuesday late afternoon. Updated menu, great food and superb service. Well worth a visit.
Visited the Plough on a Wednesday evening around 7pm with a work colleague after a recommendation from my wife. The new layout was excellent with hand sanitizer available on entry along with a track and trace QR code. The waitress was super efficient and the menu provided a superior range of food options thanks to Sean the new manager.
Two drinks, two starters and 2 mains for less than ÂŁ40 proved excellent value for money. I will recommend this pub/restaurant to my friends without hesitation.
Great pub have lived in Manchester For over 6 years from Ireland and have been in few pubs and havint found the perfect place until we went the plough such a lovely atmosphere with really nice décor and seating area they also have really cool bear garden out the back with heaters and that the guy who runs it is named Shaun he's very welcoming and gives patrons his time absolute gentleman oh the food is top of the range aswell
Had my grandads wake there and they made it so friendly and welcoming, the staff couldn't do enough for us and all with a smile on their faces, big thanks for making it a special day

Been here a couple of times now and hoping they can fit us in this month for our daughter’s birthday, love that this pub has warm lights that may sound a random thing to put in a review but to me it’s not, the lighting made it feel really homely to most pubs I have been in with those awful bright lights I’m ur face (which can make you look like Quasimodo 🤣) The guy who runs the pub is absolutely amazing, I have only met the lady once for a few minutes but she seemed lovely too, I cannot say enough about this guy he made us feel like we was at home (who knows I may come down next time in my pyjamas) and had known him forever & Im not a social person I don’t like crowded places but I feel totally comfortable coming here, it was honestly the best night we have had as a family in ages, he asked us if everything was ok but didn’t harass us, to me this is definitely the job this guy is born for can’t say enough good about him!! Food was absolutely gorgeous, good sized portions, priced well, food was served hot so you know it’s not been sat there so well done to the chefs it can’t be an easy job!! FANTASTIC FANTASTIC FANTASTIC!
Since it's recent take over. The Plough has changed massively. The looks, feel, the food and the service; amazing. Had a very nice meal today.
The food was unreal and very filling.

What a lovely little find! Went here for a quick bite before a spa break. The location is great has a park near by and the food was soo good, well presented and clean.

Had a really nice meal here tonight, the hosts are really nice and couldn't be more helpful, the staff are brilliant and friendly also. Food was very tasty. Well worth a visit. Khloe is brilliant, even made us a swan to take home.
We booked The Plough for a Funeral reception and I am so glad we chose this place.The place is very clean and well decorated with huge outdoor area.Shaun and Jill were very welcoming and very understanding of our cultural needs.A huge thank you to all the staff especially Shaun for all the support we really appreciate it.If I could give 10 stars I will.

Best Sunday dinner I’ve eaten in a pub in a long time, came last year had no chef but the owner is top knotch and showed us a place that was ok, went back and now he has 2 new chefs and they make the best food, well worth a visit.
