Good lunchtime stop off on our 9k walk from Heaton Park tram stop to Rhodes taking in Heaton Park itself and The River Irk. We had the Chicken wraps and a welcome couple of pints of Doom Bar, hand pulled, no complaints at all!

We were a party of 6 plus baby in high chair. Table was prepared in time for arrival. Lovely welcome and a member of staff directed us to our table. Bar staff super efficient and polite. As for the food, it was in our opinion 5 star standard. All 7 meals arrived at the same time, beautifully present

First time here for us. Called in on the spare of the moment for a Sunday lunch. Not the Sunday lunch we expected to get but a big variety of food available on the menu. The food was very good and well presented hot and quick. Would definitely go again and try some of the other dishes.
Lovely family pub, never been before but went for a family birthday had the jerk chicken skewers, which were delicious. Good prices and dessert of banoffee cheesecake delicious. Had a great time. Highly recommend
Always great visit treated the mother to lunch and my only complaint was there was to much food struggled to eat it all. Having visited this place on numerous occasions and being very disappointed with the food (undercooked chips, way too much bbq sauce smothering the food etc) we heard about the new menu so wanted to give it another try. The place was empty with most of the tables reserved. The menus were sticky.
Excellent food visited for a funeral and everything was great. Back again this time just the 2 of us tried the grilled chicken great value excellent meal. What’s not to enjoy drinks in the beer garden in this lovely weather. Thank you had a lovely meal staff are lovely

Loving the cocktails great new cocktail menu you need to try the new shots they are great 3rd visit and finally tried the fajitas very nice but more chicken would have been better. Back again chilling in the beer garden 😎 very busy due to an offer but always worth the wait

Didnt wait long for good at all. Quick service, hot food and worth the money. The only thing we dont like and the sauces come in sachets not bottles

Excellent food and service great new menu lovely friendly staff. Fabulous meal again staying to watch the football great atmosphere. Ensure you enter your car registration unless you want a ticket
