Only my 2nd time here 1st time was 5 years ago was very impressed then, I knew that they did good food and once again not disappointed had fish and chips nice crisps batter I can put them up there with the likes of the frying pan at weatherby and the good catch at Altrincham as fish and chips shops

Absolutely the BEST Fish n Chips I have had in a long time. Lovely White, meaty Fish and light crispy batter, chips were perfect. Always go here when visiting Rochdale to watch football. "PROPER CHIPPY" 👏👏👏😋

This is an excellent old-fashioned chippy, that does fish 'n' chips and, er, anything possible & chips.

Best chippy in Rochdale! Fish is always cooked freshly with the tastiest batter. Great portion sizes of Chips and a choice of curry sauce, love it! Don’t forget the dandelion and burdock!
Have been going to this chippy for 25+ years. Value for money is always amazing. Slightly surprised to have curry sauce and mushy peas poured over fish and chips rather than served in containers. No complaints as ever about the quality of the food.
Despite the queue yesterday (we'd brought 2000+ fans with us) the staff were friendly and efficient.
The short-ish wait was well worth it - the food was good quality, plentiful and excellent value.
Then, Bristol Rovers came back from 3-1 down to beat Rochale 4-3.

A proper English chippy that makes bloody good chips. They have a classic menu of fish, chips, pies and jumbo sausage. 2 curry choices, gravy, peas and soft drinks. Pretty much what a proper chippy should be. Very clean and food is good quality.
Perfect fish, decent peas, chips looked a bit scrappy but overall a very nice fish and chip lunch.
Nobody would be disappointed eating from here
