Whitworth Chippy - Rochdale - Photo album

Went in a couple of weeks ago; lovely lady behind the counter. Freshly cooked fish n chips. Lovely, absolutely delicious. Will be going tonight for more and post a positive review on The Fish n Chips appreciation society on Facebook. Worthy of the recognition.
I had a fish supper which was enjoyable. The fish was fresh and the batter was crispy, slightly greasy but what you expect really. The chips were a large portion and nicely cut with crispy-ish skin and fluffy potato inside. Very nice. The English curry sauce went down well with the fish and chips di
After moving back to the area after a long absence, finding a the best chippy was obviously a priority. We tried them all, from Healey to Waterfoot. This is the best by far
The food is good value for money and taste good. The person serving on this occasion was very friendly. Good local chippy.
Visited today after a good walk, lovely welcome and served quickly and the chips and curry were one of the best Tasted and we have tried a few..!!! Throughly enjoyed our visit… Fantastic chippy.
Food was lovely i haven't been for a while. The lady working there was alone and it was extremely busy. She was very apologetic for the long wait, i felt sorry for her. Its a good chippy, clearly from the que. Maybe need to make sure you have extra hands to help her out in future.
Went there for the first time on Saturday with my grand daughter. The ladies working there were brilliant, chatty and very helpful. The meals portions were generous and the taste extremely delicious. Will most definitely recommend it to anyone who likes chippy and we will certainly re-visit Whitwort
Went just before it was closing ( some things had soled out and too late to cook) the chips and curry sauce was amazing
Rushed the chips, could have done with a few more minutes.
Thought id treat myself this evening and decided to check out this chippy for the first time, as I gave recently moved round the area. Really impressed with the welcoming and friendly staff and the owner. Had fish chips and peas and I must say that there wasn't any faults with the meal the battered
Nicola has done an amazing job since taking over the chippy. Food is really good quality and priced very reasonably. All the girls who work there are friendly and service is quick. Its easy to see why Whitworth Chippy is so popular and would recommend people who havent tried here yet, give it a go πŸ˜€
Great traditional English chippy. Chips cooked properly (not too pale) in decent oil, fish lightly battered and a generous portion (fish hasn't been cut with a bacon slicer). Staff friendly and a fair priced menu. Don't change anything! 5 stars.
Use this chippy regularly and have had the majority of the menu at one point or another. The fish is fresh, and is cooked to order so you will never have a fish that has been sitting around. How many chippys do haggis and black pudding on the menu the rag pudding is to die for. Alfie makes a few th
