The Medicine Tap - Rochdale - Photo album

Amazing place! We had our ‘secret’ wedding party here and it couldn’t have been a better night! Every single member of staff were incredibly accommodating, attentive, patient and kind. The food was delicious - even the fussy eaters went for seconds - and they have an array of drinks to suit everyone
We had my daughter's baby shower at The Medicine Tap and it was amazing. The food was so good and the staff went out of their way to make sure we all had a great time. If you want to hold a small get together for up to 30 people I can't recommend The Medicine Tap enough. Thank you to all the staff f
Great venue, very clean. Plenty of beers on tap. Doesn't take CAMRA vouchers on a Sunday however, despite the official app saying they do. Still fairly cheap though at £3.30 for cask...
Wonderful iconic venue with a wide range of real ale some of which they brew themselves. Excellent food served daily. Also houses a gin and cocktail lounge. Lovely friendly welcome by staff. One of our favourite venues in Rochdale.
The food in this place is really very good. Both my wife and I had separate dishes. She had the steak, which was done to how she wanted it, and I had the bacon double burger which was also nice and juicy. We also had a sweet and ooh my word we had raspberry cheesecake with chocolate and praline and
Food good. Service depending on time of day is fair. Later on weekend nights can be noisy in a good way. Very accessible for anyone in wheelchair.
We enjoyed a lovely afternoon tea at The Medicine Tap! Gorgeous rhubarb and ginger gin, sandwiches were hearty and really tasty. The selection of cakes was great - amazing carrot cake, super soft chocolate muffins. A really laid back atmosphere, not pretentious at all, and the whole feel of the plac
Warm and welcoming with an incredible variety of drinks on draught. You can almost definitely get it cheaper next door in Wetherspoon’s, but that’ll also come with a lower standard, serving quantity over quality. I was absolutely blown away by the selection, all of my favourite drinks in one. From L
It's a really nice bar to sit and chat with a good variety and fairly priced drinks. Bar Staff weren't very friendly or even smiled at you on the bar but I would still return as it was a nice place inside to sit and have a chat.
Had a great time visiting for lunch recently. Staff are friendly and great atmosphere. The food was very good and portion sizes very generous. Would highly recommend visiting
A brilliant job of converting the beautiful old Post Office into a beautiful new bar. Awesome range of quality beers and drinks, alongside uncomplicated tasty food. Recommended!
Saturday 15th April 2023 Today we visited this Rochdale real ale pub There was only 4 hand pumped ales on I've been in when there has been 12 beers on I was disappointed on this Great interior pub great staff 5 stars was not given through lack of REal ales today There is no CAMRA DISCOUNT AT WEEKEND
Great choice of beers to choose from and nice clean tidy bar. I sat outside which sadly meant a horrible plastic cup instead of a glass which kind of spoils the taste but understandable if they have issues with fighting and people dropping their glasses when drunk. Not the cheapest, you assume as
This old Post Office has made a great pub, love the way they integrated the old safe into the toilet wall and the urinals and sink look like beer kegs, sounds grim but its tastefully done. Great location right in the centre of Rochdale opposite the town hall and close to public transport, shops and
